NEW — EU Expands "Terrorism" Definition to Include Anti-System and Anti-LGBTQ+ Ideologies
The European Commission has unveiled a new counterterrorism strategy broadening what it considers potential drivers of radicalization. The updated framework lists the rejection of European democratic values, anti-LGBTQ+ hatred, misogyny, anti-system ideologies and nihilism as part of a growing range of motivations linked to terrorism.
