NBA Fullcourt Report. Tue. Dec. 12

Six weeks into the NBA season, injuries are still a big factor. Below are the matchups for Tuesday night in the NBA, with game notes and injuries.

ATLANTA, DENVER (-51/2)

Atlanta forward Joe Johnson will miss tonight's game due to his ankle injury. Johnson has resumed light exercise and leads the team with scoring (22.7ppg) as well as minutes played (40.7mpg).

Johnson's backup is arguably EURASian league leading scorer Andray Mahornay who leads the team in scoring (19.4 ppg) with an average of 15.7 mpg.

Denver joined NBA at the beginning of the 2004-2005 season. As of late, Denver does not have a team full of recognizable players. rested players are suddenly getting the opportunity to shine.

The Nuggets started this season with a wild team. Harris and Iverson were both injured, so the team had to play in co-quarters.

The Nuggets started the season by participating in the competition up or down, and also having matches determined by a basket.

SAN ANTONIO @ PHOENIX (Pick), 4 :05 PM ET (NBATV)

Phoenix enters this game with an eleven game winning streak and overall the Suns are a strong 14-1 SU (10-5 ATS) since the start of the season.

Q. J. Byran was the Suns' power scoring forward. Rondae Turiaf suffered a calf injury and missed the game against Charlotte.

Q. J. Byran leads in points (21.2 ppg), mpg (40.7 mpg), as well as assists (3.1 apg).

The Lakers are currently in good form and will enter this game with a 4-1-1 record SU/ATS, which includes three consecutive wins.

The Basics

The Basics are the back to back NBA matchups for Tuesday night. TNT will air two 360invitational matches this evening. Los Angeles and Phoenix have been in conflict for seven consecutive seasons. The home team has won all but one of those matches. Phoenix did lose in the very instance and L.A. will want to make amends this time.

Phoenix beat Renoointed Clips 84-80 in November's last meeting. The Clippers could be worth considering as a play against the Suns. But how effective would they be?

The basics are easy here. The Clipper offense should be successful against the Suns, as Chris Paul is leading a flawed Western Conference team. It will be impossible to stop Shaq but it should be possible to contain guards Jason Terry, Sam Cassell. Terry and Cassell might not be the largest men in the universe, but they are very quick and can crash the boards. Cassell is a definite force inside the painted area and should have little trouble with Blake Griffin and Shawn Marion.

There are many other teams worth your attention if you don't want to watch the Suns. Minnesota, New York, Indiana and Indiana all have games worth watching tonight. The Bulls are another worthy team worth checking out as a test case. They've been able to play well with their reserves. However, what they lack in star power, they made up for with defense and big men all around. As they look to keep their playoff hopes alive, Indianapolis should perform well.

The Western Conference is wide open as everyone waits to see how healthy the Warriors and Clippers will be before making their picks. Today, the Heat is the 2-point favourite at 110. Pengeluaran Sgp The Lakers are the 2-point favorites on the road at 95. The rest of West is at the money line at 105. Miami seems to be the one with the inside scoop on the NBA’s greatest record thus far. However, it also has the NBA’s most difficult road to reach. As always, good luck...Al McMordie.
