National Institutes of TechnologyThe National Institutes of Technology (NITs) are centrally funded technical institutes under the ownership of the Ministry of Education, Government of India. They are governed by the National Institutes of Technology, Science Education, and Research Act, 2007, which declared them institutions of national importance and laid down their powers, duties, and framework for governance. The act lists 31 NITs. Each NIT is autonomous and linked to the others through a common council known as the Council of NITSER, which oversees their administration. All NITs are funded by the Government of India. In 2020, National Institutional Ranking Framework ranked twenty four NITs in the top 200 in engineering category. The language of instruction is English at all these institutes. As of 2024, the total number of seats for undergraduate programs is 24,229 and the total number of seats for postgraduate programs is 11,428.

IIT DelhiIndian Institute of Technology Delhi (IIT- Delhi) is a public institute of technology located in Delhi, India. It is one of the 23 Indian Institutes of Technology created to be a Centre of Excellence for India's training, research and development in science, engineering and technology. Established in 1961, it was formally inaugurated in August 1961 by Humayun Kabir, Minister of Scientific Research & Cultural Affairs. The first admissions were made in 1961. The current campus has an area of 320 acres (or 1.3 km2) and is bound by the Sri Aurobindo Marg on the east, the Jawaharlal Nehru University Complex on the west, the National Council of Educational Research and Training on the south, and the New Ring Road on the north. It is flanked by Qutb Minar and the Hauz Khas monuments. The institute was later decreed in the Institutes of National Importance under the Institutes of Technology Amendment Act, 1963, and accorded the status of a full University with powers to decide its academic policy, conduct its examinations, and award its degrees.

Indraprastha Institute of Information Technology, DelhiIndraprastha Institute of Information Technology, Delhi (IIIT-Delhi) is a state university located in Delhi, India. IIIT Delhi offers B.Tech., M.Tech. and Ph.D. degrees. IIITD also offers PhD degrees to students through the Department of Social Sciences and Humanities.

National Institute of Technology, UttarakhandThe National Institute of Technology Uttarakhand (NIT- Uttarakhand or NIT-UK) is a public technical university in the Indian state of Uttarakhand. It was founded in 2009, as one of the 10 new National Institutes of Technology in India, and is recognised as an Institute of National Importance under The National Institutes Of Technology (Amendment) Act, 2012. It admitted its first batch of students in 2010–11. The Srinagar campus is, Srinagar, Uttarakhand, Pauri Garhwal district.

Delhi Skill and Entrepreneurship UniversityDelhi Skill and Entrepreneurship University (DSEU), is a collegiate public state university located in Delhi, India. In 2020, the Government of the NCT of Delhi reorganised several existing government educational institutions, including the Integrated Institute of Technology (previously affiliated with Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University), designating it as one of the primary campuses of the newly established university. A total of 13 government institutes and colleges formerly affiliated with GGSIPU were restructured to function as constituent campuses of DSEU. It offer 15 diploma, 18 undergraduate and 2 postgraduate courses, and has a total of 19 campus in Delhi.
