**NASA’s Artemis II Mission: Astronauts Set to Break Barriers in Historic Lunar Orbit**

The world watches as NASA’s Artemis II mission prepares to send four astronauts on a historic journey around the Moon. This will be the first crewed flight of NASA’s Orion spacecraft and the first time humans have ventured beyond low Earth orbit since the Apollo era. The mission, scheduled for late 2024, marks a pivotal moment in space exploration, pushing the boundaries of human spaceflight.

Commanding the mission is NASA astronaut Reid Wiseman, joined by pilot Victor Glover, mission specialist Christina Koch, and Canadian Space Agency astronaut Jeremy Hansen. Glover, the first Black astronaut to serve as a pilot on a crewed mission, brings a fresh perspective to the team.
