It does delve into Munster TV history and talks about the almost parallel history of the Addams but probably not enough for the taste of television history buffs. There are welcome diversions like 'Munster Motors' that delve not just into the filmic history of the vehicles but also their legacy and impacts that they had outside of the TV show. Only someone as fascinated on an emotional level with The Munsters as Cox is could dig up so much intimate, behind the scenes information on the day-to-day making of the show. Very detailed and real; not just a breezy nostalgia-and-trivia book. Great interviews, and fabulous color pictures some of which even I, a genuine Munsters fanatic, have never seen. One problem though: Proof reading is one thing, but even a casual read will pick up several sloppy mistakes in every chapter. Still, the book is 'literate' in the sense of the intelligence brought to bear on its subject. Book was smaller than I expected. Book was gift for inmate. Being a life long Munsters fan you can imagine how hard it is to come across MUNSTERS related paraphernalia much less a well written compendium of facts and photos like this. It even features the continuing history such as the theatrical and TV movies, along with the reinvention of 'The Munsters Today. Not to mention great photos too If you are a Munsters fan, then this is the holy grail. If you are a passing fan, then I still recommend this book. I really enjoyed this book.
