Myanmar TESOL Association 

Myanmar TESOL Association (MmTESOL), established in 2013, is a non-profit and non-government professional association, working towards quality teacher education and professional development for teachers in English language education. We represent teachers of English and ELT (English language teaching) and TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) enterprises and organisations in Myanmar.  Our core values are professionalism, lifelong learning, respect and inclusion.

• To contribute towards the advancement of standards in ELT or TESOL to enhance better learning outcomes in education in Myanmar

Our Missions

• We connect and collaborate with local, regional and international ELT and TESOL experts, practitioners and associations to share and learn about good professional policies and practices.

• We organise continuous professional development programmes, such as seminars, workshops and webinars, lectures, training courses and conferences and other appropriate activities, for teachers of English to promote quality professional practices.

• We take part in research studies on developments in English language education and its related fields.
