My response to Catholics

Some Catholics did not get along with my last message. I was accused of hating Catholicism, of being secretly Protestant or Christian Identity. First, I do not tolerate anyone calling me a CI Christian or any other denomination. I am a Catholic, and proudly so. I decided this myself and have never hidden it. Then I was accused of putting race before religion for banal reasons. I can only answer that with a Hitler speech from the NSDAP meeting in Kaiserslautern on April 16, 1931:"...you are sinning, because you are putting race over religion, we [National Socialists] say: It’s the opposite." 

Many responded theologically to my statement and saw my message as religious. But my message was only ideological. 

We start with the 24 point of the NSDAP:

"We demand freedom of religions for all religious Denominations within the state so long as they do not endanger its existence or oppose the moral senses of the Germanic race. The Party as such advocates the standpoint of a positive Christianity without binding itself confessionally to any one Denomination."

 As a National Socialist, it is my duty to defend the Protestant Church as well as the Catholic Church but I do not put one before the other! We National Socialists are Christians but we do not define ourselves from denominations. Every National Socialist may be proud of his denomination - this is his right - but this must never lead to exclusion or demarcation. Especially this dispute between the Protestant denomination and the Catholic brought only problems to the German people. Under Adolf Hitler, this looked quite different. The Germans saw themselves as German Christians and no longer divided into denominational Germans. This is exactly what we National Socialists want. A society based on blood with Christian morality without denominational delimination.

I do not want to put myself forward as an expert on Christianity - I leave that to the very informed Christians. I am a National Socialist and I see race and not denominations or classes. If an Aryan decides to become a Catholic or Protestant, this is his right in the National Socialist doctrine and everyone has to respect this. So we National Socialists will defend his denomination and faith (see Hitler speech of 26 June 1934: "The National Socialist State professes its allegiance to positive Christianity. It will be its honest endeavor to protect both the great Christian Confessions in their rights, to secure them from interference with their doctrines, and in their duties to constitute a harmony with the views and the exigencies of the State of today."). Every National Socialist must protect Protestantism and Catholicism, this is our duty. How Catholics view this religiously is not my concern. I am a National Socialist, and I was only concerned with the ideology. This statement about Catholics mocking Luther only came about because these Catholics called themselves National Socialists. And I wanted to put this right because attacking other denominations has absolutely nothing to do with National Socialism. Just as I defended Martin Luther, I would defend a pope. I don't care that it is not my denomination, it is the denomination of a brother of the same race, and that is reason enough.

I take here the chance to clarify that National Socialism is not anti-Catholic. (See Hitler speech of 21 March 1928: "We stand on the position that the activity of the Reich Center is the most un-Christian and un-Catholic there is. If we take a stand against it, we do it because we want to protect the Church from these people.") Any good Catholic can be a good National Socialist.

And I ask here at the end again all Catholics, Protestants, Orthodox or CI Christians: What brings you this endless without clear goal pursuing dispute between the denominations? What is the point of it? 

All these attacks and insults lead nowhere. The Catholic remains Catholic, the Protestant remains Protestant and the Orthodox remains Orthodox. And God knows we National Socialists do not want to change anything! We want only one thing: that the denominations work together and stand together in faith in Jesus Christ and National Socialism.

I would like to add a Hitler quote from the August 31, 1928 at the general meeting of the NSDAP as a closing sentence, where he talks about the quarrel between Aryans of different denominations:

"Never tolerate that religious discussions take place among us. The oldest members know that this has never happened with us. We could say to everyone: Go to your church and pray to your Lord, raise your children to be decent Christians, and be convinced that it is more important to fight together for this Christianity, instead of tearing each other apart in the interest of a third party: the eternally laughing Jew." 

Only one will emerge victorious from this Brother war, and that is the Antichrist. May one day this endless dispute between denominations end, and we live together as Aryans in the spirit of Jesus Christ and National Socialism.
