My Story: From Software Engineer to Independent Trader
@leonmercerrHi everyone! My name is Leon, I’m 29, and today I can finally say I’ve found my place as a trader and content creator.

Not long ago, my life looked completely different. I spent five years working as a Software Engineer. It was a stable IT career: serious projects, a solid salary, a comfortable office, and all the perks people dream of.

But over time, I started feeling suffocated by endless lines of code. That "stability" and the perpetual grind of deadlines began to burn me out. I became just another cog in a massive machine, with no room left for drive or real inspiration. I was closing tickets, but I stopped feeling the "spark" in life.
Everything changed by chance. One day on Instagram, I came across a video of a guy who made $1,000 in a single day through trading. Coming from a tech background, I was skeptical at first, but the numbers hooked me. I asked myself: "If I can understand complex algorithms, can I really not figure out the market? Why not me?"
That was the start of my new path. I dove headfirst into financial markets. I studied strategies, technical analysis, and Price Action—applying a developer’s systematic approach to everything. I invested over $10,000 into education, testing algorithms, and, inevitably, paying the "market tax" for my own mistakes.

I spent three months in total isolation: 10–12 hours a day in front of charts, analyzing every price movement. Gradually, the puzzle pieces fell into place. First, I reached a steady $1,000 a month, and six months later, my income grew to $8,000–$10,000.
It might not be millions yet, but for me, it was true liberation. I stopped depending on specifications, managers, and code reviews. I became my own architect, trader, and creator.
Now, I’m going public: I’m launching a YouTube channel and a Telegram community to share my real strategies and my journey—without the fluff, filters, or fake "overnight success" stories.
If you’re reading this right now, remember: just six months ago, I was sitting behind a keyboard fixing someone else's bugs, unsure of where to go. Everything is possible. You just have to be brave enough to take that first step.
