Quand la carte de l'amitié devient plus grande pour représenter le monde au delà d'Equestria, les Mane 6 réalisent qu'elles doivent trouver un moyen de transmettre le message de l'amitié le plus largement possible. Heureusement, Twilight sait quoi faire : ouvrir une école de l'amitié.
Avec son école de l'amitié fermée par l'EEA, Twilight Sparkle doit réunir ses étudiants, donner de l'inspiration à ses amis et écraser les règles pour ce qui lui paraît juste. Toutes les créatures, poney ou non, ont le droit d'apprendre l'amitié ensemble.
Pinkie Pie se retrouve prise de court lorsqu'elle apprend que sa soeur Maud s'est trouvée un petit ami que Pinkie ne peut supporter.
Fluttershy est la seule disponible pour garder la boutique de Rarity à Manehattan durant son absence, et elle se créé des personnages afin de gérer la clientèle intimidante. Mais plus ses personnages deviennent exagérés, plus Fluttershy s'aperçoit qu'elle était déjà le meilleur poney pour ce travail en étant elle-même.
Granny Smith et ses vieilles amies se retrouvent à Las Pegasus, tandis que Rainbow Dash les accompagne afin de tester la meilleure montagne russe de tous les temps avant sa fermeture. Mais les règles de sécurité imposées par Applejack pour les poneys retraités tiennent Dash tellement occupée qu'elle doute de pouvoir faire le moindre tour sur l'attraction de ses rêves.
Les CMC tentent d'aider un hippogriffe à trouver sa place. Avec de la famille sur le Mont Aris ainsi que des proches seaponies à Seaquestria, il n'arrive pas à savoir où vivre. Malheureusement, les CMC aiment les deux endroits et n'arrivent pas non plus à se décider.
Le rêve de petite pouliche de la Princesse Celestia de jouer dans une pièce de théatre se réalise quand Twilight Sparkle l'engage dans sa pièce. Seulement, cette dernière s'aperçoit que Celestia a sans doute de meilleurs talents que celui d'actrice.
Ni Starlight ni Sunburst ne sont allés voir leurs parents depuis un long moment mais quand les deux sont appelés par la carte dans leur ville natale, ils découvrent que leurs parents sont au centre du problème d'amitié qu'ils doivent résoudre.
Applejack et Rainbow Dash emmènent les étudiants de l'école de l'amitié dans une sortie en plein air pour leur apprendre le travail d'équipe et leur montrent accidentellement comment ne PAS travailler en équipe.
C'est Hearts and Hooves Day, Big Mac a de grands projets romantiques concernant Sugar Belle. Mais cette journée spéciale ne se déroule pas comme prévu quand Big Mac entend par mégarde sa jument spéciale dire à Mme. Cake qu'elle prévoit de rompre avec lui !
Spike est confronté à une série de symptômes étranges. Smolder lui explique que cela est normal chez les dragons qui rentrent dans l'adolescence, c’est la "mue". Pour le plus grand effroi de Spike, Smolder explique aussi que les familles jettent leurs enfants atteints, un des effets secondaires de "la mue".
Les CMC essayent de convaincre Twilight de les laisser intégrer son école de l'amitié alors qu'il est clair qu'elles en maitrisént déjà le programme.
La Reine Chrysalis revient, prête à prendre sa revanche sur Starlight Glimmer et les Mane 6.
Quand Twilight Sparkle laisse Starlight en charge de l'École de l'Amitié, Discord est frustré de ne pas avoir été choisi pour ce travail et il fait tout ce que qu'il peut pour rendre le nouveau rôle de Starlight impossible.
Une farce qui tourne mal ruine les préparations pour la fête du feu chaleureux (Hearth's Warming Eve) et pendant que Twilight essaye de découvrir lequel de ses étudiants est derrière cette histoire, les étudiants se lient d'amitié en partageant des souvenirs de leur foyer.
Quand Twilight découvre qu'il y a une autre École de l'Amitié, elle et Rarity vont enquêter et sont choquées de découvrir que l'idole de Twilight et Pilier de l'ancien Equestria, Starswirl the Bearded est inscrit à cette université de l'amitié !
Rarity et Rainbow Dash commencent à se demander pourquoi elles sont amies quand elles n'arrivent pas à trouver quelque chose qu'elles aiment toutes les deux.
Pinkie Pie a une nouvelle passion qu'elle adore : jouer du Zenthrash. Mais quand ses amis la découragent de jouer à cause de son absence de talent, cela cause une série d'évènements qui conduisent Pinkie Pie à quitter Ponyville sans doute pour toujours !
Quand Trixie est invitée à produire son spectacle de magie dans la lointaine Saddle Arabia, elle ne pense pas trouver quiconque de plus parfait pour l'accompagner que sa grande et puissante assistante, Starlight. Mais tous les amis ne sont pas faits pour voyager ensemble.
Scootaloo a un coup de foudre pour les Washouts, un groupe de poneys cascadeurs en tournée dans le monde. Rainbow Dash se fait alors du souci pour sa sécurité et a peur de ne plus être l'idole de la jeune pouliche.
Rockhoof, un des Piliers héroïques du passé, a du mal à s'intégrer dans la société moderne. Twilight et ses amies font alors leur maximum afin de l'aider à se trouver une place.
Les élèves à l'École de l'Amitié découvrent une pièce dont personne ne soupçonnait l'existence alors qu'ils passaient un examen sur l'histoire de la magie dans la bibliothèque de l'école. Quand ils décident de l'explorer, ils finissent par en apprendre bien plus que ce qu'ils ne l'espéraient.
Fluttershy et Applejack sont envoyées à l'autre bout d'Equestria pour une quête d'amitié, dans le but d'aider un groupe de poneys nommé les Kirin. Ces derniers sont trop effrayés de blesser les sentiments des uns et des autres, ils ont donc décidé de prendre une potion de silence.
Un mystérieux dragon s'écrase au coeur de Ponyville. Ce dernier se dit être le père de Spike. Le jeune dragon obéit alors au doigt et à l'œil à ce dernier afin d'apprendre comment devenir un vrai dragon.
La magie d'Equestria est en train de disparaître sans raison, Twilight se met alors en quête avec ses amies tout en laissant l'École de l'Amitié derrière elle. Cela laisse alors les portes ouvertes pour une attaque venant d'un esprit malin...
Tandis que Twilight et le reste du Mane 6 tentent d'échapper à Tartarus, Cozy Glow manigance dans l'ombre afin de prendre le contrôle de l'École de l'Amitié avec pour seul barrage, les élèves de Twilight ainsi que les CMC !

It's hard to imagine that I've been following this silly little show for seven years. They're on their seventh season, and while they've had the occasional slip or mediocre episode here and there, when looking at the whole package as a single seven-season wad of content...yeah, I'm calling it. It's about as good as it gets. See, after seven seasons, shows are usually stagnant, uninspired, just running the motions and not trying anything new. Friendship is Magic, though, still finds way to surprise and satisfy in new ways, and that's mostly a credit to the dynamic world and characters the show is built around. I've always been impressed with the imagination, creativity, and effort put into this show. Traditionally, My Little Pony's television outings have been fairly cynical endeavors, where it started life as standard Saturday morning thoroughfare and spun downward for decades after. This generation of My Little Pony, however, is one of the most welcome and unexpected surprises of recent television. All the show had to do was display candy colored equines cavorting about being cute and noisy and singing songs to stoke the flames of errant consumerism in toddlers. It didn't have to build a fantastically diverse world inhabited by creatures of classic lore and contemporary creation. It didn't have to weave complex narratives behind each character or choreograph real-life lessons from organic constructs of conflict. It didn't have to pull together a crack team of veteran animators, television producers, musicians, artists, and highly established writers to work together in magnificent harmony. But it did anyway. This show has zero obligation to be of any quality whatsoever. Yet it still oozes with quality. You can tell the team behind it worked with the passion, zeal, and caliber to make a previously mundane franchise into the best show they could make it. It was the perfect storm of creators and visionaries working in tandem. It had absolutely no business being any good, but they went ahead and made it good anyway. And that's what makes it so phenomenal.

The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because they haven't posted either of the other episodes that are out already, and it's kind of annoying. The show itself I give 5 stars to. I'll gladly up my rating when they get the episodes updated here and then keep up with it like they're supposed to. I love the show though.

I love my little pony for the life lessons it gives, and all the unique characters. There is one thing I would like to know. Will season 9 ever be available to buy on prime video?

As usual, good story lines and with the new characters there is more interest in seeing how the Mane 6 combine their roles as teachers along with being friends. In particular, I loved the "Grannies Gone Wild" and "Non-Compete Clause" episodes. Look forward to more episodes in the future.

This season was great. Looking forward to another appearance of those season finale characters. Surely they'll return at some point. Surely. I mean, it's not like we're still waiting for the Diamond Dogs to make another appearance, right?

One of the best seasons so far in my opinion. I like that there's a lesson to learn through the season and it's engaging and entertaining. My girls absolutely LOVE My Little Pony and can watch all the shows back to back.
