Favorite Character: Jenny Wakeman I know this is the most picked choice for this list. Of course, Jenny is a decent protagonist. Not only is she dedicated to protecting people, but she also owns up to her mistakes and learns from them. Least Favorite Character: Pteresa There’s really nothing appealing about Pteresa. She’s just a mean girl stereotype and that’s the only thing her characterization amounts to. Favorite Villain: Queen Vexus No doubt, she is the most engaging villain in the show. Least Favorite Villain: Brit and Tiff Crust I might be cheating with this particular choice, since the Crust Cousins are considered antagonists. I still chose them for this spot because I mostly found them to be very obnoxious. Overrated Character: Tammy Please don’t take this the wrong way. While I love Tammy as a whole, I think some of the fans are too quick to justify her actions. They also try to use her good looks to excuse the fact that she forced Brad to love her. Yes, Tammy is beautiful, but it does not mean that she is immune to being criticized. Underrated Character: Melody Locus You probably saw this coming. Out of all the characters in the show, I felt that Melody was the most misunderstood. A moderate number of fans bring her down while holding Jenny to a higher standard especially in terms of shipping. After seeing those kinds of comments, I appreciated Melody even more for how she was portrayed: a kindhearted, selfless, and resourceful girl who would do anything to help Brad and even Jenny. She deserves much more credit for her good deeds. Melody wasn't rude to Jenny when she first met her, so it's really pointless to keep misinterpreting her when other characters like her dad did worse things. I loved the bond between Jenny and her cousin Glenn. Least Favorite Episode: Saved by the Shell Eh....I just couldn't get into this episode. For the most part, I didn't like that Jenny refused to see how self-absorbed Don Prima was. Good thing she got over him later on. Favorite Pairing: Brad and Melody Their relationship may not have been used to its full potential, but I think they're a sweet pair in their own right. Melody did everything in her power to make sure Brad and Jenny weren't hurt and did not let her father's control stop her from achieving what she wants. Brad loved Melody for who she is on the inside and still believed she was a good person even when her robot form looked menacing. If that's not real love, I don't know what is. Least Favorite Pairing: Brad and Tammy It's obvious why this couple wouldn't work out. Tammy only sees Brad as a prize and used their marriage to take control of him. Yeah, Brad briefly agreed to it, but he only married her because she looked beautiful. It would be out of character if Brad suddenly fell for Tammy while being held hostage by her. My Life as a Teenage Robot is an American television series created by Rob Renzetti for Nickelodeon. The series focuses on the adventures of a robot girl named XJ-9 or “Jenny”, designed and programmed as a 16-year-old by her creator and “mother” Dr. Nora Wakeman and intended for the sole purpose of protecting Earth from various threats, though the show often focuses more on XJ-9 attempting to live like a regular teenage girl.
