How about a hot cuppa? I'm a tea drinker, and this evening when were celebrating my wife's birthday we had made a pot of cinnamon chai rooibos for an after dinner treat. I had poured a cup into my favorite glass mug, when I saw the evening light hitting the floor in the living room. I knew there was a photo there, and I was particularly delighted with how it turned out. I've done a couple minor bits of housekeeping on the image, but is largely the way it came out of camera. As if the pandemic weren't enough, it has been very hot the last three days and 37 C degree weather is forecast to continue in Bangkok until next Wednesday. There are ruffles on the hips and the top...and then there is a matching skirt. At this seminar, it was about, femininity...all the women dressed up as much as possible...and the teacher said ...I was the best in this outfit.
Every day was a fashion show....but...I had great shoes...and he said you all look great
but Mrs X...wins because of her shoes. The shoes were all vinyl and at that time, they were not common. And they cost a fortune.

Given that the temperature out today and most of July has been above 28 degrees celsius, I thought this photo would be like eating a cold ice cream cone on a hot day.
This is a photo taken march 2019, after a sudden spring snowfall blanketed most of southern Ontario; bringing traffic to a halt and closing schools. Karen and I had made our way to heart Lake and taken some amazing shots of the snow covered trees and trails.

About a half hour drive from my hometown is a place called Los Banos that is known for its Hot Springs. We spent the day there swimming and getting full body massages.
