There are some things in the anime world that you expect to come off as NSFW, but My Hero Academia is not one of them. The anime isn't known for its abundant fan-service and the raciest it gets is with Midnight, the R-Rated Hero. Still, there are some things that fly under the radar, and it seems My Hero Academia 's latest season put in another one.
Over on Reddit, one detail-oriented fan noticed the show's latest NSFW moment. Or well, what would have been NSFW if it were not for a certain Quirk. In the end, Tooru's power prevented her from flashing the entire fandom, and fans are pretty happy they avoided such a skin-baring scene.
Recently, the anime's third season went live, and My Hero Academia kicked it off by having the Hero students of Class 1-A travel to a summer camp. The entire gang came together to train their Quirks in a high-intensity setting. Naturally, the whole thing is pretty exhausting, and one episode shows the girls of Class 1-A sleeping off the day in their cabin — but something is strange about Tooru.
As you can see above, Tsuyu and Momo are sleeping just fine in their beds, but Tooru is a bit different. The girl is entirely visible as she forgoes using a blanket, and that reveals a startling fact about her.
Yes, Tooru apparently sleeps totally nude, and it only thanks to her Invisibility Quirk that the scene got through censors.
So far, fans don't have any idea what Tooru really looks like, but My Hero Academia has plenty of time to make such a revelation. Its anime is only a few episodes into its third season while its manga just ended its shortest arc yet. With Izuku still in high school, the Pro Hero world hasn't gotten to see what he or his classmates can do. And, one day, they may be able to actually see what Tooru looks like for real.
For those unfamiliar with My Hero Academia , the series was created by Kohei Horikoshi and has been running in Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump since July 2014. The story follows Izuku Midoriya , who lives in a world where everyone has super powers but he was born without them. Dreaming to become a superhero anyway, he's eventually scouted by the world's best hero All Might and enrolls in a school for professional heroes. The series has been collected into 15 volumes so far, and has been licensed by Viz Media for an English language release since 2015.

While My Hero Academia has a colorful and diverse cast of characters, some personalities failed to woo the users on Reddit.
My Hero Academia fans are patiently waiting for more volumes of the manga and the sixth season of the anime series. The beloved franchise has cultivated a loyal fanbase by featuring epic storylines, moving character arcs, and a really cool power system.
My Hero Academia has a lovable and charming cast of characters, which includes the altruistic protagonist Izuku Midoriya and the quirky mentor All Might. However, not every character in the manga and anime series has been able to capture the hearts of the franchise's fans. On that note, users on Reddit have voiced out which My Hero Academia characters they least liked.
My Hero Academia doesn't solely focus on the adventures of Class 1-A. Hitoshi Shinso, a student from Class 1-C, has also played a significant role in many of the series' arcs, such as the U.A. Sports Festival Arc and Joint Training Arc. Hitoshi's Quirk is Brainwashing, allowing him to control other people as long as the victim verbally responds to him.
Hitoshi has gained popularity amongst fans of My Hero Academia due to his character development. However, Redditor Jantripp says that they haven't seen Shindo do anything "interesting enough as a character to warrant the popularity". Despite that, it seems that Hitoshi's mysteriousness implies that he could become an important character in the series' future arcs.
Tsuyu Asui is one of the more popular characters from My Hero Academia and some fans would even love to be friends with her. Her Quirk allows her to gain frog-like abilities, such as an elongated tongue, aquatic adaptation, and powerful limbs. She's beloved by fans of the series for her keen intellect and unique design.
However, not everyone is a fan of Tsuyu. On Reddit, joelwar27 notes that they feel that Tsuyu is a character that's "being forced onto the spotlight" and they don't understand why Tsuyu gets a lot of screen time. But in the series, Tsuyu proves that she deserves to be a key figure thanks to her levelheaded personality and cleverness.
Shuichi Iguchi, also known by his villain name Spinner, is one of the nine lieutenants of the Paranormal Liberation Front. He's also associated with the League of Villains and served under Tomura Shigaraki. Spinner's Quirk makes him look like a lizard and allows him to stick to walls.
While his Quirk is arguably insignificant, Spinner proves his worth by having superior fighting abilities. His Quirk isn't anything special, and Redditor Renekin says that they "do not enjoy his character" and his design. They also think that he's trying hard to be a knock-off of the villain Stain.
Minoru Mineta is one of the U.A. students from Class 1-A. The spheres on top of his head can be pulled off and stick to anything it touches, except Mineta. He can use his Quirk to trap enemies, shield himself from danger, and scale tall surfaces.
Mineta doesn't really have a lot of fans due to his perverted and immature personality. On Reddit, RISING admits that they find Mineta "annoying". What's more, he's one of the least brave characters in My Hero Academia as he tends to panic and bail during a fight.
Also known as Stain, Chizome Akaguro is a vigilante-turned-villain who aims to weed out the false heroes in society. His ideology stems from the belief that almost all heroes are only doing it for the money and the fame. Aside from having superhuman speed and strength, Stain can also paralyze someone by simply tasting their blood.
Stain sought to obliterate anyone who he thought wasn't worthy of being called a hero. Redditor adarsh_NG noticed this too, and said that despite being a "great villain with his own twisted goals", Stain didn't have the right to indiscriminately kill heroes.
Inasa Yoarashi is a student from Shiketsu High School who faced U.A. High School's Class 1-A during the Provisional Hero License Exam. His Quirk allows him to control the wind and use it to attack his enemies. He's capable of flying thanks to his Quirk.
On the surface, Inasa is a cheerful, friendly, and energetic student who just wants to make friends. However, it is soon revealed that he detests heroes who are filled with hatred, due to a previous experience with Endeavor and his son Shoto Todoroki. In a Reddit thread, ElectroDragonfly says they "didn't like Inasa either" and don't understand why he was so pressed with Shoto.
Class 1-A has plenty of students who have interesting and useful Quirks . Koji Koda, for one, is able to communicate and command animals. Koji is a shy and quiet student, so much so that he prefers talking to his classmates using sign language. While he can talk to all animals, Koji is deathly afraid of bugs, but he is ready to set his fear aside to help his classmates.
However, NinjaristicNinja on Reddit thinks that "the guy with the Quirk that lets him talk to animals" hasn't "done anything particularly amazing" that they didn't even bother to learn his name.
One of the students in class 1-A, Yuga Aoyama is working his way towards becoming a professional hero using his Quirk, which allows him to shoot a powerful laser from his navel. Viewers of the show have a good reason to hate Yuga, as it was recently revealed that he was the notorious U.A. traitor.
Some fans might think that Yuga is an underrated Class 1-A student , but he was mostly unable to use his Quirk as he was born Quirk-less and was only given powers by All For One. Redditor MetaGigaTheFirst writes that Yuga is also a coward and the "most vain character" in the series.
Most known by his professional hero name, Endeavor, Enji Todoroki is Shoto Todoroki's cruel father who is the current No. 1 Hero in the My Hero Academia universe. Aside from his superhuman strength, intellect, and stamina, Endeavor can also shoot extremely powerful blasts of flame.
While he may have snatched the title No. 1 Hero from All Might, Endeavor is feared and not well-liked by the people. Reddit user Crystal_Star07 comments that they have not seen Endeavor's "redemption arc" while also noting that they "could change".
Kaina Tsutsumi, also known as Lady Nagant, is a villain who was freed from the supervillain prison Tartarus. Lady Nagant's Quirk allows her to form a rifle from her arm and fire various types of bullets. Lady Nagant's formidable Quirk is further enhanced by her raw skills in assassination and close combat.
Lady Nagant is a former hero who has decided to help All For One as he aligns more with her new belief that the hero society is extremely flawed. That said, user ResponsibleWall9372 says in a Reddit post that they dislike Lady Nagant for her motives and beliefs that "make no sense".
Jom is a freelance writer for Screen Rant. His love of pop and geek culture stems from years of watching TV shows and exploring the internet from under the covers of his bed. He also enjoys engaging with vicious and casual pop culture fans on online forums. When he's not busy writing, he can be found playing games on his Switch or listening to newly released records.

My Hero Academia has been out of the spotlight for a while now, but it won't be long before season six makes its debut. After all, the series is set to return this fall, and all eyes are on its October premiere. And now, the team behind My Hero Academia has given fans a peek at season six thanks to a script tease.
The update comes from Twitter as the anime's official page posted the behind-the-scenes look. As you can see below, the team at Studio Bones took a video of the season premiere script and even thumbs through the top-secret document for netizens.
#heroaca_a pic.twitter.com/OJIwASGeGd
"In about a month, My Hero Academia season six will being airing on October 1st. This is the script for the premiere, episode 114. It tackles the season's main story from the start. Dubbing is progressing as our cast and characters collide. Look forward to it," the tweet reads.
As you can see, the script for episode 114 is simple enough on the outside and features a key visual for season six. Izuku is shown close up alongside Shigaraki as the pair will go head to head once this season airs. The finale of season five confirmed as much before wrapping, and manga readers know this comeback will feature one of My Hero Academia's most intense arcs yet.
Of course, there is a little more than a month left to go before Izuku returns to screen, and he will not dominate the fall season alone. In fact, the anime industry will welcome a number of hits come October. Chainsaw Man, Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War, Spy x Family, Mob Psycho 100, and more will launch this fall... and that doesn't even touch on the industry's annual titles. So if you need to catch up on My Hero Academia, you better get started ASAP!
