Nadia Ali used to thread eyebrows before she entered the industry but now pulls in millions of viewers
A MUSLIM porn star, who performs adult scenes while wearing traditional Islamic dress, has explained why she won't ever quit, despite being 'banned from Pakistan'.
Nadia Ali, 25, first started out in the industry almost two-and-a-half years ago as an exotic dancer before getting into the world of escorting and then porn.
The 25-year-old, who lives in Los Angeles but also has family in Pakistan, used to thread eyebrows before she entered the adult film industry.
Although Nadia admits her experiences "conflict" her religion and work, she told Refinery29 that wearing a hijab and scarves help her pull in millions of viewers.
Nadia said in her interview: "I'm a practising Muslim. Sure I have conflicts between my faith and day-to-day life, but doesn't everybody?
"I practice Islam, for the sake of peace and guidelines of life - not to steal, be humble, be happy, be thankful.
"One of the biggest main sins is adultery and doing it multiple times a day as an escort you will not be forgiven and I am fully aware of that but yet I still pray. But I don't escort anymore."
Nadia says she always felt like an outcast growing up in a "strict Islamic community" but one day, as she was struggling to meet ends meet in the salon, she decided to work as an exotic dancer with friend.
"I made like 500 bucks and I was so proud of myself. Oh my God I'm never going to go back, I'm never going to go back to my old life again," she recalled.
"It's like you're selling a fantasy that you're going to take this guy home with you but you're not."
During the video interview, Nadia also reveals that she has "officially banned from Pakistan" before of her choice of work.

"They banned me because I wore the scarf and the traditional dress in the adult scenes and performed in Islamic wear," she added.
Although Nadia later told Daily Mail Online that she hasn't received an official warning but said: "When people want to kill somebody they're not going to contact you, you're just going to know and feel."
While Nadia's parents would rather she didn't work in the adult film industry, they understand her decision, as she hopes to open a beauty bar and sees porn as a stepping stone.
She said: "Ideally, just like any other parent they do not like their daughter to do that type of work, but they have a good understanding of why I did things.
The determined 25-year-old explains you have to be smart to crack the porn industry because there are no mentors, saying: "No-one really has a mentor in the adult industry, you just have to figure it out."
And although she doesn't like the criticism she faces for her choice in outfits, Nadia regards herself as a trail-blazer.
"Someone has to make a difference and change a few things. If I have to make it clear over and over again that's fine, I'm here to stay and I'm here to make a difference," she said.
She told Refinery29: "The only thing that stands out, and I got millions of views, is because of my outfit.
"I'm not OK with that. But then again it was good for the viewers and I got what I wanted out of it, I did get the publicity."
