I’m grateful to have found this app. You can adjust the settings to have a silent reminder of prayer time or audible Athan. The prayer time adjusts when you you travel. I recommend the paid version, which is very reasonably priced, to avoid the ads when the app opens. It also gives reminders to mention Allah, and you can play recitation of the 99 names of Allah and recite along (it’s wonderful to hear my 4-year-old recite along). Another reminder that it offers is to read Quran, which is available to read on the app. Other features are finding Qibla (direction to pray), Dhikr (features a count along of recitations on the app), and Dua (with English transliteration and translation). I highly recommend.
Assalamu Alaikum! Thanks a lot for your feedback. We are glad that we can help Muslims across the world! Your comment is very valuable to us. We will consider your opinion. Jazakallahu Khair.
I absolutely love this application! It's so straightforward and doesn't have 15 million other customizable headaches that would take up your time and confusion. Simple, accurate, and reliable. Was smiling ear to ear when I realized it was something that actually worked and took out all the complication that other prayer/qibla/zikr apps sometimes come with. Developers of this app- y'all are doing awesomely!
I was just curious scrolling through the App Store, and ound this wonderful app! I was curious so I downloaded it. When I downloaded it, It helped me track the Qibla, it helped me get up and pray on time! I used to use a different app for tracking the Qibla, but that was a bit tricky, so I used this one, which is much much easier!!! And I also love reading these wonderful messages, my favorite one is, “ Allah makes impossible, possible.”This app had reached on a higher level of Islam ☪️ I recommend islam beginner’s to download this app, like, it’s so marvelous! If your a starter in Islam then you should totally download this app! I love this app so much and the developers deserve an award! MashAllah’!!! But I also think you shlukd add little hadiths for kids under twelve, thatd be awesome! Thank you for your Time!
Assalamu Alaikum, thanks a lot for your kind words! We are so glad that we can help Muslims across the world! Please be sure that your recommendation will be considered for the next versions. Jazakallahu Khair.

Virtues of Taraweeh Prayer Congregational
8 Importance of Studying in Islam – Life – Hereafter
Who do not know Azan? Azan is an appeal to all of Moslem about the time of five daily prayer . It is also an appeal to congregation prayer with special lafadz. In language, Azan is Isim that occupy the position of Mashdar Haqiqi. Al Idzan is an announcement and Al Iblagh is a delivery. For example, Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta’ala said :
واذن من الله ورسوله الي الناس يوم احج الاكبر ان الله برئ من المشركين . ورسوله……….
“And [it is] an announcement from Allah and His Messenger to the people on the day of the greater pilgrimage that Allah is disassociated from the disbelievers, and [so is] His Messenger.” (Q.S. At-Tawbah : 3)
The word of Azan means delivery an information that Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta’ala and His Messenger break free from polytheist.
The origin of Azan is explained in some similar hadith. It is narrated by Abdullah bin Umar :
“When a people came to Medina, they got together. They estimated the time of prayer, but no one who call to do prayer. Because of that, one day, they talked it. Part of them said, “Use a bell like Christians.” Other part said : “Use a horn like Jews.” Then Umar said : “Why do you not call someone to do prayer?” Then Rasulullah SAW said, “Hi Bilal, stand and shout the prayer call.” (Narrated by Al-Bukhari, Muslim, at Tirmidzi and An Nasa’i)
There are reading and way of Azan. Those are explained in a hadith :
Narrated by Nashr bin Al Muhajir (the teacher of Abu Muhammad) mentioned the name of person who dream :
Someone from Anshar came to ‘Abdullah bin Zaid. Then he looked at Qibla and said, Allahu Akbar, Allahu Akbar (Allah the Almighty, Allah the Almighty) – two times. Asyhadu an laa ilaaha Illallah (I testify that there is no God besides Allah) – two times. Asyhadu Anna Muhammada Rasulullah (I testify that Muhammad is a Messenger of Allah) – two times. Hayya Alal al shalah (let’s pray) – two times. Hayya alal falaah (let’s go to victory) – two times. Allahu Akbar, Allahu Akbar (Allah the Almighty, Allah the Almighty) laa ilaaha Illallah (No God besides Allah). He stopped for a while, then stood again and said the same sentence, but Hayya Ala as Shalah he added the sentence Qad Qamat al salah, Qad Qamat al Salah. Rasulullah said, “dictated that sentence to Bilal.” Then Bilal echoed Azan with that sentence.” (Narrated by Abu Dawud)
After we know about the meaning of Azan, let us discuss what importance of Azan in Islam. Here are the importance of Azan based on the hadith of the Prophet Muhammad Shallallahu ‘Alaihi Wa sallam :
Azan is gone out everywhere in the world. Actually, Azan is a beautiful voice from Islam. It is gone out five times in a day. The voices of Azan in this world are same, admire the Greatness of Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta’ala, invite to pray and reach the victory. Azan also becomes our reminder to meet Allah Ta’ala. You may also read how to dua for success and get victory in life.
In Azan, hayya alal Falah is mentioned which means let go to the victory. It is very related with our victory against our lust. When we are lazy to do congregation prayer in the mosque after azan is gone out, we should fight that laziness. [AdSense-B]
Azan remembers us to fight our lust, so it make us more diligent to do prayer. See also Quran Dua for success and victory in life.
Abu Huriarah told taht Rasulullah Shallallahu ‘Alaihi Wa sallam said : “If Azan is gone out to pray, Satan go and fart until it does not hear Azan. If mu’adzin finishes Azan, it come and go again when the Iqomat calls.” (Narrated by Bukhari, Muslim)
From Abu Hurairah radhiyallahu anhu informed the word of Rasulullah Shallallahu ‘Alaihi Wasallam :
“If people know how big is reward of Azan and the first raw, then they cannot get it except by lottery, they will vote to get it.” (Narrated by Bukhari, Muslim)
[AdSense-A] As it is mentioned in the hadith of the Prophet Muhammad Shallallahu ‘Alaihi Wasallam :
“It is not the voice of Azan that is heard by trees, slimes, stones, Jinn and human, except they will testify for him.” (Narrated by Ibn Khuzaimah)
“It is not Jinn, human and there is nothing that hear the voice of Azan from a mu’adzin, except it will become a good witness for Mu’adzin in the Hereafter later.” (Narrated by Bukhari)
Ibn Umar said : Rasulullah Shallallahu ‘Alaihi Wa sallam said :
“ Mu’adzin will be forgiven in the end of his Azan, and every et and dry thing which hear Azan will ask forgiveness for him.” (Narrated by Ahmad)
Then it is narrated by another companion that :
Rasulullah Shallallahu ‘Alaihi Wa sallam prayed Imam and Mu’adzin : “O Allah, give ingenuousness for Imam and forgive Mu’adzin.” (Narrated by Abu Dawud)
“Mu’adzin gets reward like the reward of people who pray with him.” (Narrated by An Nasa’i)
The meaning is when Mu’adzin peals Azan and many people come to the mosque because they heard that Azan, the Mu’adzin will get the importance reward of people who come to do prayer with him.
As it is explained in the hadith of the Prophet Muhammad Shallallahu ‘Alaihi Wa sallam :
“Mu’adzin are people who have long neck in the Hereafter.” (Narrated by Muslim)
“Your Lord wonders to a shepherd on the top of mountain, he peals Azan to pray, then he prays. Then Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta’ala said : “Look at my servant, he peals Azan and iqomat to pray, he is afraid to Me, I has forgiven my servant and entered him to the Heaven.” (Narrated by Abu Dawud and An Nasa’i)
Besides it is based on the hadith that has been explained in the eighth importance, it is explained again by Rasulullah Shallallahu ‘Alaihi Wa sallam in a hadith :
From Abu Hurairah said : “We have heard with Rasulullah SAW, then Bilal stood to peal Azan, then when he finished, Rasulullah SAW said ‘whoever say like this surely, he will enter to the Heaven.”
Thus the importance of Azan in Islam. Hopefully this article is useful and add our faith to Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta’ala. Amen.

In Islamic tradition, Muslims are called to the five scheduled daily prayers ( salat ) by a formal announcement, called the adhan. The adhan is also used to call believers to Friday worship at the mosque. The adhan is called out from the mosque by the muezzin, who stands either in the mosque's minaret tower (if the mosque is large) or in a side door (if the mosque is small).

In modern times, the muezzin's voice usually is amplified by a loudspeaker mounted on the minaret. Some mosques play a recording of the adhan instead.

The Arabic word adhan means "to listen." The ritual serves as a general statement of shared belief and faith for Muslims, as well as an alert that prayers are about to begin inside the mosque. A second call, known as iqama, then summons Muslims to line up for the beginning of the prayers.

The muezzin (or muadhan) is a position of honor within the mosque. He is considered a servant of the mosque, selected for his good character and clear, loud voice. As he recites the adhan, the muezzin usually faces the Ka'aba in Mecca, although other traditions have the muezzin face all four cardinal directions in turn. The institution of the muezzin position is a long-standing tradition, dating back to the time of Muhammad.

Muezzins with exceptionally beautiful voices sometimes achieve minor celebrity status, with worshipers traveling great distances to their mosques in order to hear their renditions of the adhan.

Arabic transliteration of the adhan is as follows:

The English translation of the adhan is:
