MUSIC CONTEST "UNIVERSITY VOICE" REGULATIONS

1. Purpose of the Contest

• Strengthening cooperation between universities and providing students with the opportunity to showcase their creative talents.

2. Participants

• Only university students can participate.
• There are no restrictions based on the course.

3. Registration Process

• Applications will be accepted online.
• Deadline: November 25, 2024.
• Applicants must provide the following:Full name, university, and faculty information;
• Passport copy or student ID;
• Audio or video samples (1-2 minutes).

4. Contest Stages and Dates

• Preliminary Stage:Date: November 29, 2024, at 15:00.
• Location: AJOU University.
• Participants will be evaluated by the jury and selected for the next stage.
• Quarter Finals:Date: December 6, 2024.
• Location: To be announced.
• Semi-Final and Final:Date: December 13, 2024.
• Location: To be announced.

5. Performance Style and Requirements

• Performances must be live.
• Each participant can perform in various genres (pop, jazz, national, classical, etc.).
• Performance time: 2-3 minutes.

6. Evaluation Criteria

The jury will evaluate the following:

• Sound Quality: Voice control, strength, and tone.
• Performance Technique: Difficulty level and performance style.
• Attention to Detail: Emotional expression, stage presence, and creativity.
• The jury will consist of well-known producers and music experts.

7. Prizes

• 1st Place: Free song arrangement and composition at Vagif Zakirov’s studio + special gift + certificate.
• 2nd Place: 750,000 UZS cash prize + certificate.
• 3rd Place: 500,000 UZS cash prize + certificate.

8. Other Conditions

• Participants must attend all stages on time.
• Late arrivals or violations of the rules may lead to disqualification.
