MultiversX Community Guidelines & Rules
MultiversXWelcome
Welcome to the official MultiversX Community Telegram - a shared space built for meaningful connection, collaborative problem-solving, and long-term ecosystem growth.
Whether you are building on MultiversX, exploring the ecosystem, or just getting started, this channel exists to support your journey.
These guidelines exist to create the environment described in our community manifesto: a place where builders thrive, knowledge flows freely, and long-term vision guides our interactions.
Channel Purpose
This channel serves as:
- A welcoming space for newcomers to learn, ask questions, and get oriented
- A community hub for those aligned with MultiversX’s long-term vision
- A knowledge resource where experienced members share insights and context
- A collaboration space for builders, creators, users, and contributors
- A support network for technical discussions and ecosystem challenges
The goal is simple: to create a space where participation adds value, not noise.
What We Value
Strong communities are built on mutual respect, good faith interactions, and genuine collaboration.
We encourage members to share knowledge openly, help newcomers find their footing, celebrate progress, and engage in thoughtful dialogue around technology, development, and ecosystem opportunities. When questions are asked, we value those who step in to help. When you are building something meaningful, we encourage you to share it and invite constructive feedback.
Engage with curiosity and intent. Discuss architecture decisions, explore use cases, troubleshoot together, and challenge ideas in ways that move understanding forward. The more energy we collectively put into building, learning, and collaborating, the stronger the ecosystem becomes.
Channel Scope & Focus
To keep this space valuable and signal-driven, discussions should primarily focus on:
- MultiversX ecosystem projects, partnerships, and initiatives
- Community events, collaborations, and opportunities
- Onboarding support and educational content
- Technology, development, and technical discussions
- Product feedback and constructive ecosystem dialogue
Market & Price Discussion
We understand that market sentiment often follows price action. However, for this channel to remain healthy and future-oriented, price and trading discussions are redirected to dedicated trading channels. This space is reserved for substance, not speculation.
Standards of Behavior
This is an official MultiversX community space with defined standards.
The following are not accepted and will be moderated accordingly:
- Content posted with bad intentions, including deliberate provocation or disruption
- Hate speech, harassment, personal attacks, or discriminatory language
- Persistent FUD, repetitive negativity, or doom-posting without constructive intent
- Mockery, ridicule, or antagonistic behavior toward other members
- Trolling, spamming, or derailing conversations
- Scams, phishing attempts, misleading links, or impersonation
- Unauthorized promotions or off-topic advertising
The distinction we care about most is intent. Critical thinking is welcome. Tough questions are allowed. What is not welcome is behavior designed to antagonize, discourage, or erode the community experience.
On Criticism & Dialogue
Critical discussion is healthy and necessary. The difference lies in how it is expressed and why.
Ask yourself:
- Are you seeking understanding or simply venting frustration?
- Are you contributing to dialogue or attempting to provoke reactions?
- Are you helping move the conversation forward or holding it back?
We encourage criticism that is thoughtful, well-reasoned, and offered in good faith. We do not host criticism whose sole purpose is to inflame sentiment or undermine constructive participation.
Moderation, Enforcement & Appeals
This channel is curated to protect the experience of those who are here to contribute meaningfully.
Moderation actions may include:
- Gentle reminders or warnings
- Message removal
- Temporary mutes
- Permanent bans for repeated or severe violations
These actions are taken to maintain a healthy environment, not to silence constructive voices.
Appeals & Unban Requests
We recognize that context matters and that people can make mistakes. For this reason, we maintain a clear and fair appeal process.
- Users who have been muted or banned may submit an appeal on the dedicated form.
- Appeals should be written calmly and in good faith. Aggressive or dismissive appeals will not be considered.
Criteria for Reconsideration
Appeals will be evaluated based on the following:
- Clear understanding of the issue that led to the mute or ban
- Acknowledgment of the behavior that violated community standards
- Demonstrated willingness to engage constructively moving forward
- Evidence of a period of good behavior, where applicable
Repeated violations, lack of accountability, or continued bad-faith behavior may result in permanent removal without further reconsideration.
Participation in this space is voluntary. If these standards align with how you wish to engage, we’re glad to have you here. If they don’t, official announcement channels remain available to follow updates without active participation.
What We Are Building Together
Without clear standards, communities drift toward the loudest voices rather than the most constructive ones. Negativity compounds, new members disengage, and meaningful work gets crowded out by noise.
These guidelines exist to prevent that drift.
We are intentionally building a space where:
- Knowledge sharing outweighs price speculation
- Long-term vision matters more than short-term sentiment
- New members encounter possibility, not pessimism
- Value creation happens openly, collaboratively, and over time
This is a place to build reputation, find collaborators, and create real impact - not by complaining, but by contributing.
A Final Note
This community will become what we collectively choose to make it.
You can contribute to the signal.
You can help newcomers feel welcome.
You can choose substance over noise, collaboration over conflict, and building over complaining.
We’re betting on the curious, the patient, and the committed - and on what can emerge when the right environment is protected.
