Update on the future of Miss-silk.com
December 18th 2021 will be our 3rd birthday , I know some of you have been with us since the start, others have joined more recently but I have enjoyed the last 3 years greatly.. with that in mind I wanted to do something special, so I have been looking at moving the chat room to a new site.
Many of you have told me features you would like to see, and I have taken these suggestions into consideration when making the choice to move.. although I cant give you every suggestion I have tried to tick as many boxes as I can,,
For the last few days Ive been inviting those members who have registered with our current site a chance to come over to the new site for a sneak peak and the chance to register the same name on the new site..
Starting the 4th of December I will be opening up the room to everyone else as a parallel room alongside our current room, Then from the 18th December I plan to move the domain over fully..
Here are 10 reasons why I think you will like the new site...

1. The ability for you to mute other users if you want to..

2. The ability for registered users to be able to send and receive offline messages to other users when they are offline. They simply receive the message when they log back in.

3. The ability to archive Messages for 30/90 days , saving conversations to continue at a later date.

4. The ability to change your chat handle, add a photo or profile fast and easy should you wish to.

5. We will have moderators in the new room , who will be able to keep the room running smooth and friendly if I am not able to be online.. I will be taking suggestions or nominations of mods in the coming weeks If you wish to nominate someone then please let me know.

6. We will have password protected chat rooms to enable you and your friends to group chat in private without strangers

7. The ability to “react” with someone's post.

8. 100's of emoji's to use if you just don't feel like typing words

9. NO more “spam” warnings when you pm other users if they want to see or hear what you have to say then the server wont stop you.. (If they dont,, they can mute you!)

10. To help with the funding of the new site I plan to offer users who wish to donate towards running costs a “Room Sponsorship” Those who wish to sponsor a room will be able “name” It either in their own name, someone elses name or just a generic title. They will also be able to choose if the room is public access for all to use, OR password protected for just their choosen friends to use.. Sponsored room availability will be limited due to server restrictions so if you are interested in this please let me know..
