EDIT 03-27-18: 1-646-400-0801 is the new preferred number 11am-8pm EDT. 1-877-646-2892 is the number which appears on the back of the card and they shouldn't disconnect that one. You should also email esc@moviepass.com (escalations department) if customer service is unable to help.
I also tried using their chat service via the app, and they said "we are limiting our in-app chat service to those who are at a theater or trying to check in to a movie". My message to them started with "I AM TRYING TO CHECK IN" and I was still denied a conversation.

Saturday night I try to reserve my e-ticket on MoviePass for Three Identical Strangers at Landmark 57 West, but the app won't work. I use the help button on the app to talk to someone, and after troubleshooting doesn't work, they suggest I pay for the ticket, and I will get paid back if I send the receipt on Monday. Today I emailed them the receipt in the morning. Now it's 9pm, and they haven't responded. I tried using the app's help to contact them, but it no longer will connect me with a representative, and the app says MoviePass is not reimbursing people at this time.
WHAT THE FUCK MOVIEPASS. I wouldn't have seen the movie if you didn't tell me that you were going to reimburse me.
I need help with changing an email address on an account. I have called, gone through the app, and message on Facebook.
Anyone else pissed about the new surge time that makes it so I am still paying for movies even after my membership? I loved the service, but I am going to draw the line with this update. Wanted to call them to let them know why I was cancelling first though
I have been trying to cancel through the app for over a week. I call and just get told to try chat and then hung up on....over and over and over.....90 full minutes in chat today someone came on, apologize and let me rot there another hour.
No support, of any kind. Filed fraud charges with bank but that is a hassle also. Will see them through. I have screen shots of whole mess. These "people" suck.

I GOT THROUGH! SO here's a you get what you pay for kinda moment smh I kept getting an "authorization error" when trying to log into movie app after my previous phone was destroyed. I emailed and called for weeks to no avail. Thanks to the comments of @jujubunny777 and others I just called literally 16 times back to back eventually connected was put on hold and hung up boo, tried 15 more times and HAZAAA I finally got through. I asked the woman what gives? she told me although moviepass is servicing alot of people, in an effort to keep the price appealing to others their customer service teams are tiny! my issue was resolved in a total of like 4 minutes YAY. I legit LOVE movie pass and this experience almost made me walk away forever. I'm glad I can get back to my love for the cinema. KEEP TRYING! REDIAL PRESS 2, REDIAL PRESS 2, REDIAL PRESS 2 UNTIL YOU GET THROUGH!
Did you hang up when you heard the piano music, or did you stay on the line then? I waited 45 minutes today to be disconnected 'for heavy call volume' not about to sit on hold that long again.
I GOT THROUGH, but only thanks to one of the posts, here, that advised me to keep calling back a dozen times. There may be something to this rapid-redial technique because it is the only thing that worked. Over the course of three days, I called once every thirty minutes -- from the time they open to the time they close. I could not get through. I kept getting a message that said that they were experiencing an usually high call volume, asking me to call back. When I kept hanging up & calling back without breaks in between, I got through on my 8th attempt. 😊 My issue was fixed in under 3 minutes.

Btw, I contacted MoviePass Customer Service on Twitter. Instead of responding to my most recent message, they responded to some old message about my fiance's account. I responded to that message & never heard back about my account. Too slow. I submitted a ticket for support every day for three days. I got email confirmations that someone would be getting back to me. No one has gotten back to me. Too slow. If you have an issue, call the 646 number & keep redialing.
MoviePass uniquely logged me out of my phone. Now I cannot access my account. It took them 6 days to get back to me by email. It sucks?
Tried it 5 eastern on a Saturday and a message said "we cannot attend to your call, please call back another time" and hung up on me. What gives?

The in-App live chat is not good. They don't get right back to you.
