"Here. Have some coffee." He turned his back toward her as he poured her a cup of Joe.
While he was turned, he slipped a pill into her drink. With a hidden smile, he watched her take a sip.
"Now answer me." She demanded as she took another sip.
"It's simple. I'm taking control of the house. I'm the boss."
"I pay the bills, so I control what goes on in this place!" She erupted, shaking with anger.
"Not anymore." Tom said, folding his arms across his chest.
"What do you mean?" She rubbed her temples as a strange feeling threaded through her.
Tom smiled, watching the drug take control of his mother.
"I...I...why?" She looked at him, then down to her chest. "Why are my breasts growing and...starting to leak!"

A woman who turned her daughter into a 'sex slave' - forcing the 12-year-old girl to have regular sex with her 'nymphomaniac' stepfather - has claimed she was vulnerable at the time and was doing her best to survive.
The woman from Mildura, 110km north of Melbourne, had forced her daughter to have sex with her stepfather - the woman's husband - between 1969 to 1972, the Herald Sun reported.
The Mildura County Court heard on Thursday that the mother, now aged 80, routinely forced her teenage daughter to go into a bedroom where her husband was waiting to have sex with her.
'[The woman] said her co-accused was a nymphomaniac and she was unable to look after his sexual needs by herself,' prosecutor Catharine Sedgwick told the court.
The abuse - inflicted on the girl when she was aged 12-15 - resulted in the birth of an intellectually disabled boy who was raised by the mother as her own child.

After she gave birth to the boy, the teenager - now aged 59 - was kicked out of the family home.
The mother told her other children the girl had left because 'she hated us and didn't want to live with us anymore'.
In 2010, the victim made a police report about the abuse after undergoing therapy for 10 years.
She said in a victim impact statement that her mother 'had made me into her own personal sex slave'.
Her step-father, now 79, was in September sentenced to a maximum of four years in prison.
The elderly mother has pleaded guilty to carnal knowledge of the acts inflicted on the girl.
The woman's defence lawyer Peter Chadwick, QC, claimed she had left a violent 16-year marriage, during which she had nine miscarriages after being beaten, and had wanted to make her new husband happy.
'This was an extraordinarily vulnerable woman doing her best to survive,' Mr Chadwick said.
He said the mother, at the age of 80, was not the same person who had committed the crime all those years ago.
County Court Judge Elizabeth Gaynor said she was not convinced about a wholly suspended sentence, despite the prosecution agreeing.
'I'm not entirely satisfied that in my mind a short period of imprisonment is inappropriate in this case,' she said.
The mother is free on bail and the hearing is set to resume on Friday.
She cannot be named as it would identify her daughter.
