A mother and her 12-year-old daughter kicked out the glass doors to a 7-Eleven they allegedly shoplifted from – then tased the store clerk for locking them inside, according to reports Monday.
The clerk told police he recognized Dorsey Saunders and her kid when they entered his shop at 3232 Post Road in Southport, Connecticut, Sunday around 8 p.m., the Connecticut Post reported.
He said the duo had been there before and befriended him – but that he’d notice cans of Red Bull would go missing every time they visited.
Suspecting them of shoplifting again, the clerk slipped out of the store and locked them inside as he called police but they broke the glass door to escape.
The daughter zapped him with the stun gun before police arrived. She was charged with assault, criminal mischief, criminal attempt to commit sixth-degree larceny and conspiracy to commit sixth-degree larceny.
Meanwhile, Saunders, 41, of Bridgeport, faces charges of risk of injury/impairing the morals of a minor, criminal mischief, criminal attempt at sixth-degree grand larceny and other charges.
The mom denied stealing anything from the store and said they kicked out the door because they were scared. She was released on $2,500 bond. Her daughter was released into her custody but the state Department of Children and Families was notified.
Inside her car, police found a bag of cold Red Bull cans on the floor, four-packs of Monsters and more Red Bull on the backseat.
Surveillance video taken from the store in July shows Saunders and her kid allegedly swiping Red Bull.

Police have busted a 'family business' after an alleged mother and daughter prostitute team were spotted advertising their services online.
Tanja Gammon, 57, and Darcel Gammon, 31, were both arrested last Tuesday in Kissimmee, Florida after authorities stumbled upon an ad touting for business on the classifieds website backpage.com.
The duo, from New Jersey, were busted in an undercover police sting after cops responded to their online ad.

Court records obtained by The Smoking Gun showed the pair had placed the ad under the alias the name 'Tamara' — claiming she was a 'Sexy MILF' with an 'Awesome Attitude & Personality' as well as an immense hatred for the 'taste of Latex.'
Cops called the number and were directed to meet the alleged sex workers at Motel 6 for a $100 30-minute encounter.
'When I arrived … I knocked on the door and was greeted by Tanja, who was wearing lingerie,' the officer wrote in his statement.
'Tanja said to get comfortable and retrieved a condom from her purse,' he continued.
The cop said that Tanja pulled a condom from her purse, then grabbed his hand and reportedly thrust it towards her crotch.
'You got to make sure I don't have a d***,' she told him, according court documents.

The documents say she briefly exposed the officer's penis before cops swooped, arresting her and her daughter, who they later found in the bathroom.
Both of the women were wearing lingerie.
Police claim Tanja shouted 'I didn't take the money yet, I didn't take the money yet!' So it really doesn't matter!' as she was being detained.
The mother-daughter duo apparently worked together at Motel 6, alternating as each other's lookout and security.
Darcel allegedly told an Osceola County Sheriff's Office deputy while being driven to jail that she 'knew I was a cop and that I called her first but she knew better than to call back.'
