Nude photos of a 25-year-old Melania Trump have emerged and her husband's campaign are standing behind the scandalous images.
The photos were taken for a now-defunct French men's magazine, Max , 20 years ago when she was modeling.
It was just three years before she met her future husband, Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump.
Jason Miller, a Trump spokesman, defended the racy photos, telling CNN: "There’s nothing to be embarrassed about. She’s a beautiful woman."
In some of the photos, Melania , who at the time went by the name Melania K., posed nude with another woman, Scandinavian model Emma Eriksson.
The French photographer who took the photos, Jarl Ale de Basseville, told the New York Post : “This is beauty and not porn. I am always shocked by the porn industry because they are destroying the emotion and the essence of purity and simplicity.”
He snapped the photos in New York in the mid-90s inside an apartment in the Chelsea section of Manhattan.
Kate Anderson Brower, author of First Women, The Grace And Power Of America's Modern First Ladies , told Inside Edition: "You don't expect a first lady to have this kind of photoshoot in their past. It is something we have never seen before. It is uncharted territory."
Melania, 46 , met Donald Trump at a party in 1998 in New York. They married in 2005 and have one child together, Barron, 10.

She was a journalism instructor at California State University Dominguez Hills for 12 years until 2016 and coaches JV girls tennis at Los Alamitos High School. If you’ve ever wondered who the star of social media might have been back in the ’60s, consider June Wilkinson. Her photo appeared on hundreds of pages of men’s magazines. Wilkinson was 15 when she got her start as a topless fan dancer at London’s Windmill Theatre. By 17 she was dancing at the Embassy Club.
One day a businessman in the audience invited her to do a modeling job for his company at, of all things, a cutlery convention in Chicago. “I said, ‘Mom, we’re going to America!’ ” Wilkinson recalls. Hugh Hefner, then based in Chicago, heard that a brunette bombshell was in town with what was later referred to by one writer as “the thoroughly upsetting mathematics of 43-22-36.” Hefner “rang her up” to ask if she would be kind enough to do a photo spread for Playboy. The rest is history: After the 1958 shoot, Wilkinson dyed her hair platinum blonde and went on to become the most photographed nude woman in America, appearing in Playboy eight more times.
Wilkinson now splits her time between residences in Newport Beach and Palm Springs. You can often find her at Palisades Tennis Club in Newport Beach, where her boyfriend of 15 years, Peter Hughes (a former Universal Studios exec), and daughter, Brahna Pastorini, both play. Now 77, Wilkinson looks fresh and fit, with hair as blonde and bouncy as ever. “I have really good hair for an old lady,” she jokes. She’s writing a memoir about her life as a pin-up girl (working title: “Hollywood or Bust”). In it she will elaborate on her date with Elvis, her Broadway run as the star of the racy comedy “Pajama Tops,” her 1972 marriage to NFL Houston Oilers (later Raiders, Rams and Eagles) quarterback Dan Pastorini and the time she was filmed for a black-and-white German comedy by some guy named Francis Ford Coppola.
And how does she feel today about “The Bosom,” the nickname Hefner bestowed on her? Says Wilkinson, (English accent still charmingly intact): “It was before bust jobs. Now there’s people who make me look like Twiggy. It’s a whole other ballgame today.”
Why I live here: It’s really nice walking. I go walking with my girlfriend or Peter. It’s beautiful. And we’re one block away from the shopping center. I walk down the stairs and go across the street and there it is.
Favorite breakfast spot: Cappy’s Cafe. It’s quiet and it’s not one of those snooty ones. You can go in there and nobody gives a hoot. Most of the time I don’t want to get fancy and go out.
Shopping haunts: My favorite stores are the ones that go on sale. I have so many clothes. I could live another 50 years and not run out of clothes. I have a few evening gowns, for when Hefner used to have big parties. But people don’t do that anymore.
My sanctuary: Palisades Tennis Club. My favorite thing to do is to watch my daughter play tennis. I’ll come down any time she’s playing. I like the people that come here, and I like the cafe. It’s pleasant.
Clouds or sun: I never go to the beach. I don’t sunbathe. I’m 77 years old. And I don’t want to look 77. And the worst thing you can do if you don’t want to look 77 is go out in the sun.
Fitness routine: I do something for my body every day. But I don’t believe in pounding your body. I do fast walking around the track, then I go from one end of the weights to the other. About three days a week a girlfriend and I meet and we walk wherever we want to walk: the neighborhood, the Back Bay. We talk and shoot the breeze.
Best celebrity meet-up: I was 17. So I go to Hollywood for a few days, staying with Patti Page. Her husband was a choreographer, doing work for (the 1958 musical) “King Creole.” Elvis was in it. So I watched the shooting one day. Elvis came over and started talking to me, invited me to dinner. It was at his hotel, I think it was the Beverly Wilshire. He sent a car for me. All his buddies were there. After dinner he said, “Well, let me show you around.” So we end up in his bedroom. He starts to try to make love to me. And I said, “Oh I’m really sorry, I’m a virgin.” So when he found out I was a virgin he picked up his guitar and sat on his bed and sang to me for about two hours. He was gorgeous in those days. I couldn’t wait to tell all my girlfriends.
My fans: I still get fan mail. Recently I got a letter from a young kid in the service. He’s in the Middle East. He sent a picture of himself. And he said he would love a picture. I send photos with a signature. I don’t send out nudes.
On my nightstand: A book in case I wake up in the middle of the night and want to read. I love biographies. I just finished “And Give Up Showbiz?” I started “The Case for Christ” last night.
One thing I wish I’d known earlier: I probably would have tried to remember people’s names more. I met so many people that I got into the habit of calling people “Sweetheart.” That was something I really could have improved on.

Following rigorous competition and more than 130,000 voters, the World’s Most Beautiful Vagina Contest anointed a champion this week. It was a strange, difficult-to-gauge event—but that’s why organizers turned to scientists to tell us what it all means.
U.K. resident Nell, 27, won first place and $5,000 in the pageant with a vulva beauty ranking of 7.7 out of 10. Jenny, 23, of Bavaria, Germany, took second place with a 7.3; and Anita, 20, from Hungary, came in third. They each earned $2,500 and $1,250, respectively.
The contest was sponsored by Brian Sloan, who is also the manufacturer of the Autoblow 2 . It’s known as “the first truly realistic alternative to traditional pleasure products for men,” according to the its website .
These winners will also be flown out to Los Angeles, where their vulvas will be 3D-scanned to later be reproduced for the Autoblow device.
Sloan contracted a group of data scientists to analyze the contest’s findings for their scientific implications. The data was then compiled in “ The Vulva Paper .”

The Vulva Paper’s website says scientists “used the contest data to assess the diversity in vulval morphology and voters’ preference for different morphologies.” A total of 182 women participated in the contest; 110 entries were examined for the study (if measurements could not be taken from the photo, the entry was not considered).
The scientists viewed each entry on a 15-inch computer screen, zooming in “until the genitalia were easily measured using a screen ruler,” read the paper .
They measured labia majora length, labia minora length, and clitoral hood length.
Finally, the scientists rated the complexity of the labia minora; they used the three categories of rugosity (smooth, moderate, marked) to do so. To prevent vaginal bias, the same person also conducted all of these measurements. The scientists later used this research to classify the contest’s entries into six different categories of “vulval morphology.”

As far as methodology is concerned, a random assortment of entries was sent to each voter, who was then asked to rate the vulva pictured on a scale from 1 to 10. These voters were only able to rank one photo at a time, but could also vote on an unlimited number of entries. The scientists compiled 2,766,671 ratings from 134,707 contest voters.
“To reduce individual biases, we centered each voter’s ratings using their mean and standard deviation. This allowed us to reflect the preferences of voters on the same scale,” read the study .
According to the paper , each voter rated 21 photos, on average. Each vulva also received 15,285 votes, on average.
The study also found that “roughly 51% of voters preferred the first two classes of non-protruding, simple labia. The other 49% favored the four more complex vulva classes.”
“As expected from the rankings that we saw at the country and local levels, Class 1 vulvas are preferred over the others more often. But the combined percentages of voters who preferred more complex classes of vulvas far outweighed those who preferred the simplest style.”
The winners’ photos, however, were not included in the study—having been among the participants whose photos were not able to be considered. Moreover, the “doggy style” posture featured in these entries made it difficult for the scientists to complete the necessary measurements.
“Indeed, pictures depicting contest entrants in a doggy style position obtained ratings 2 points higher on average (p <0.001) than others. Other features, like piercings in the clitoral hood, didn’t affect the ratings,” read the study .
So basically, the “doggy style” photos generated “influential excitement” among the contest’s voters—an important competitive advantage for all future entrants to consider.
