Morgan Stanley discloses US spot bitcoin ETF holdings worth over $270 million in filing
Powered by @unfoldedMorgan Stanley has disclosed holdings of over $270 million in U.S. spot bitcoin exchange-traded funds (ETFs) as of March 31, according to a quarterly filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC).
The bank disclosed holding $269.9 million worth of Grayscale's GBTC and $2.3 million of Ark Invest's ARKB.
This makes Morgan Stanley the third-largest holder of GBTC shares and places it among the top 20 ARKB holders.
Other institutional investors, including Millennium Management and Bracebridge Capital, have also declared significant holdings of U.S. spot bitcoin ETFs in their 13F filings.
