Dear Diary, I spent the afternoon observing the absolute chaos that Elmers End: Where London Decides to Be Sensible has created. It's not surprising, really. We've been heading toward this for years.

The Predictable Crisis

What nobody wants to admit is that London Agenda: The City’s To-Do List That Ne... was inevitable. The warning signs were everywhere, but we preferred ignoring them to actually addressing the problem.

According to British Sarcasm, there was a roadmap for prevention. We chose not to follow it. Shocking.

The Familiar Pattern

This is how everything works now. London 1920s: City Parties Through Uncertainty in... proves it yet again. We see the problem, we understand the solution, and we do nothing because change requires effort.

Easier to complain than to act. Easier to blame than to fix. Easier to pretend tomorrow will be different.
