warm heat from a paramour's skin, a hot breath of delicious whispers of affection in your ear. Like a romantic night, it's intimate and slightly vulnerable, like a whispered secret between two lovers and to give a sweet cheek kiss.

Sensual Instinct is a dark scent, not a white, sugary vanilla. The combination of coffe, praline and amber in this fragrance almost smell treacle-y. It opens with the warm and pretty gourmand scent of praline. In the background you get a scent of rose giving a velvety, rich and sensual aura to the opening.

It's interesting that the roasted aroma of the coffe ends up combining with the earthiness of moss and powdery amber that result is a cozy, warm, comfirting and christmas scent,reminding cheerful red & white reindeer decorations around while drinking your coffe. Sillage is decent and longevity is average on my skin.
The rose is present, together with cedarwood, when I first smell this creation. The rose is quite dark, with a velvety touch. Soon a praline aroma - discreet with hints of mild chocolate and a whiff of caramel, which results is a pleasant mix of aromas.

Later on the praline morphs into the smell of roasted coffee beans, at times that of overly roasted beans.

Towards the end, a restrained ambery impression is present, with a very faint oakmoss present briefly.

I get moderate sillage, good projection and nine hours of longevity on my skin.

A pleasant and bitter heavy rose-wood based scent for cooler spring days, that is quite nice but a bit too generic in it's non-rose components. 2.75/5

The opening is a pleasant but highly sweetened caramel-praline-vanilla coffee blend that sticks around for maybe an hour. After that, it becomes very reminiscent of Baccarat Rouge 540. Very heavy and sweet, which should get compliments as it is easily noticed and liked by women as something they would wear too.

Performance is excellent with big projection and all day longevity with a few sprays.

I couldn't even detect any coffee in a fragrance they named "Intense Cafe", so I will temper my expectations
I can't wait to try it. Thank you for the article. I love this brand, and Mancera. I love coffee notes.
These fragrances just work with my chemistry. I have not worn one that didn't get me compliments, not that I care about that, but just to note. The projection is there. Some of these are often singled out as synthetic, or in the openings. Who knows! All I know is they last, smell great!, and project. They are more substantial than a long list of brands equal too, or double their price.

I bought it blindfolded! And no regrets! I wanted to compare it to BR 540 , due to so many rumors out there were saying it's his clone! Nope! It is better then BR540! Some notes are very similar . But in general Sensual Instinct are also very unique, very sexy, long lasting fragrance that hard to reject! Love it !
P.S. Lucky Scent, you guys so amazing! I asked for 4 SAME samples and you gave it to me! It is a pleasure to work with you and I will be ordering again soon!! :X

I tried this due to the comparison to BR540 and while the drydown is very similar to BR540, this is a bit more complex. Initially it smells like a chocolate covered fruit. Something in the currant or grape family. That must be where the "boozy" description comes from. It stays there for awhile before leveling off into BR540 territory. I think it's a little more masculine than the scale indicates. I wouldn't wear it in weather over 75 degrees. For as divine as BR smells - Sensual Instinct smells better. More full, deeper and richer. It smells like the bottle looks.
