🌱 Monitoring Meeting on the Erasmus+ CirculEC Project at WIUT

On October 9, 2025, Westminster International University in Tashkent hosted a pilot monitoring meeting for the Erasmus+ project “Development of Innovative Curricula and Modules in Circular Economy and Sustainable Development (CirculEC)”.

The event brought together over 50 professors and experts from universities in Central Asia and Europe to assess the integration of Circular Economy and Sustainability principles into educational programmes at bachelor’s, master’s, and lifelong learning levels.

During the meeting, participants discussed:

• Current and new modules at WIUT integrating Circular Economy and Sustainability principles

• Strengthening cooperation between Central Asian and European HEIs

• WIUT’s ongoing efforts to promote green transformation on campus

• Sharing experiences and strategies for developing interdisciplinary educational programmes

• The role of higher education in advancing sustainable growth and innovation across the region

This meeting was part of the Monitoring Round Trip across Central Asia (Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, and Turkmenistan), held within the Erasmus+ Capacity Building in Higher Education (CBHE) framework.
