Money Goals. Rule №3. Continued
🧠 The same thing happens when we talk about money in your account. I've had several cases where someone really, really wanted money — but things didn’t quite turn out the way they expected. Let me share three examples.
👨💼 First. A story about a man who came to Kyiv thinking: “I want to earn a million dollars!” He was visualizing those neat stacks of money. And right at that moment, as he was walking down the street, he felt this strange sensation — as if the goal was already achieved. A kind of satisfaction, like: I did it. He didn’t quite understand what was happening, but his whole body was buzzing with that state. Then he looked down — someone had handed him a flyer, and it said “1,000,000 dollars”. And his brain went: “Well done. Mission accomplished”. And for the brain — that was absolutely real.
👩💻 Second situation. A friend told me how, after listening to an inspiring talk, she decided to focus on her financial goal. She said: “Something clicked — I want a million! I could see that amount on the screen: my account, the numbers — one million UAH. I kept repeating to myself: I need a million, I’m ready for a million”. And just at that moment — a notification about incoming funds. She opened it — and there it was: one million UAH! But… it wasn’t her personal account. It was her work account — the budget for an ad campaign.
🏗️ Third example. I have a colleague with whom I’ve carried out many social initiatives. She’s very active in public service and oversees large infrastructure projects. One day she said: “Huge budgets go through me — tens of millions — but my own bank card is nearly empty. And I thought: What is this? If only I had a million euros — that would be perfect. A million and a little peace of mind”. And literally a few minutes later — a call. A partner organization said: “Are you aware there’s a million euros sitting on your account? If you don’t allocate the funds by the end of the year, they’ll expire and you’ll get nothing next year. Please send the invoices”. She said: “On December 28th I was running around like crazy with those documents. I was so drained by then, I didn’t want anything anymore”.
🔮 So if you’re talking about amounts you’re just visualizing — like people often say: “Imagine this money is already in your account. Imagine it’s already yours” — you might actually see it. Your subconscious saw the picture and is happy to show it to you: you glance over someone’s shoulder, and boom — there’s the exact amount you were thinking about.
