Mum puts drunk, naked son to bed after Halloween night out - then gets a huge fright in the morning
She found him under a duvet cover on the floor at 4.30am
A mum who discovered her drunk son had stumbled into the house in the middle of the night and fallen asleep had a huge shock hours after she put him to bed.
Juliet found her son, Stewart, under a duvet cover on her dressing room floor at 4.30am on Sunday morning.
Being the lovely mum she is, she gave him a pillow and he said: "thank you".
This immediately set off one alarm bell in her head as she says she thought "hmm, Stewart sounds very polite."
In a Facebook post Juliet wrote: "Thought it was odd that Stew's car wasn't outside and a bit strange that he would come round in the early hours for a kip in my walk-in.
"I thought his hand looked mucky, but figured it could be that his car broke, and just thought ah well, Stewart does funny stuff, he can explain what he is up to in the morning.
But when she got up in the morning, she got a huge fright worthy of a Halloween trick or treat.
Her husband, Cliff, came downstairs and calmly remarked: "There’s a naked bloke upstairs and it is not Stewart," the Sun reports.
Juliet said: "In the morning it turned out it was a guy called Marc, with a half painted face who had left his clothes in the conservatory covered in mud, with his muddy phone.
"I wonder if he was walking home and threw himself over the fence at the back? Or did he pick up all that mud in the woods? We live in the middle of nowhere."
The mum admits he "looked like her son enough to pass a cursory".
Cliff dropped the Halloween reveller, Marc, off at his home a few miles away from their house.
Although Juliet was very impressed by his drunken manners, saying he was "obviously housetrained" as "he knew not to walk mud through" and had left his shoes in the conservatory.
We're sure Marc is very grateful for Juliet and Cliff's hospitality!
Elsewhere, people were much more mischievous than poor Marc.
Take a look at the damage caused on 'Mischief Night' - the name for the night before Halloween - across the country.

If Lucille Bluth’s love for vodka and Tami Taylor’s affinity for wine proved anything, it’s that moms and booze go together like tequila shots and lime slices. Now, Moms Getting Drunk wants to give all the mamas out there some inspiration for maternal-themed libations.

Offering recipes for everything from a Momosa to a Mamakaze, the hilarious website offers drink recipes for the mom who likes to have fun (maybe a little too much fun).
Website creator Chris Limbrick says he got the idea for the website back in 2012, after he made a joke to his mom and grandma while they were knocking back a few at a family dinner. “We all made a toast and I remarked, ‘Haha, look, moms getting drunk!’,” he told the Daily Dot via email. “After that I thought to myself ‘MomsGettingDrunk.com’ could make a funny website. So I purchased the domain name.”
For months, Limbrick worked with his friend Justin Hanna to launch the site. Hanna helped with the mom-pun inspired drink recipes and Limbrick used his background in design to create a mock-up for a design for the site, along with a template for each drink recipe.
“Moms are hard workers and they deserve a drink at the end of the day. We shouldn’t forget that, so let’s make a toast to moms!” Limbrick said. He hopes that people (and especially moms) will try some of the recipes.
The recipes are pretty accurate, such as this one for a Mom Island Iced Tea:
Mix ingredients together over ice in a glass. Pour into a shaker and give one brisk shake. Pour back into the glass and make sure there is a touch of fizz at the top. Garnish with lemon.
1 part vodka
1 part tequila
1 part rum
1 part gin
1 part triple sec
1 ½ parts sweet and sour mix
1 splash Cola-Cola
So what does Limbrick’s own mom think about the project?
“I sent my mom a text message telling her to check out my new website, and she responded with, ‘Good Lord!’,” Limbrick said. “When I followed up to ask what she thought of the website, she responded, ‘It’s hysterical and I’m relieved that there isn’t a picture of me!'” All in all, he says, “I think she loved it.”
So for all the boozy moms out there, treat yourself to a glass or seven of your favorite wine. But remember kiddos:
