Stepmother gets 9-year-old gangraped by son and his friends, strangulates; gouges her eyes out on spot

Uri: After the infamous Kathua rape case that took place earlier this year, another 9-year-old minor girl was brutally gang-raped and murdered in Bonyar, Uri. This time, by none other than the step-brother and his friends of the deceased victim. Reports say that even the step-mother was present at the scene of the crime and was arrested on Tuesday along with four others for brutalising and murdering the victim.
The decomposed body of the girl was found in a forest situated at a distance away from her home on Sunday. After Mushtaq, the father of the girl filed a complaint with the police on August 24 about her daughter going missing since the previous day, it was revealed to the police that the complainant was married to two women.

A Special Investigation Team (SIT) led by Uri Sub-Divisional Police Officer took over the further investigation into the matter and after a sustained round of interrogation, the suspected stepmother confessed to having committed the crime, said a report published by Kashmir Reader.
Fahmeeda, the stepmother bore a grudge against her husband’s other wife and her children as she believed he was more affectionate towards them. She revealed in her recorded statement that the deceased victim was the dearest to Mushtaq.
She reportedly took the victim to the forest and got her gang-raped by her 14-year-old son Sahil, his friend Kaiser Ahmad, 19, Aadil Ahmad, 14, and Naseer Ahmad Khan, 28 who took turns to molest the victim. Following this, Fahmeeda strangled her as her son hit her head with an axe which resulted in her murder. They allegedly went on to gouge the poor child’s eyes out and poured acid on her body parts even after she was dead. After subjecting her to such monstrous torment, they finally threw her corpse, covering it in bushes. All the accused have been arrested.
