I just had a fucked up dream. I was having sex with my mom. And I think this was not the first time. What do you think it means? I am having trouble looking into this thought.
Your anima can lash out like this when you're practicing celibacy/abstinence. Don't get discouraged if that's the case. If this isn't correct then it's probably something regarding the boundaries you set with the women in your life. It could be that you don't feel as close as you would like to be or that you are uncomfortably close to someone. You could feel this way for a wide variety of reasons that only you could know.
Either way, it's important to remember that it wasn't your mom. It simply wasn't. It's just an unconscious impression that happened to take that form. You're okay. Avoid analysing the specific details of the dream and focus on your emotions.

Picture your subconscious as having many pools which are filled with images and symbols. One of those pools is ruled by a mother archetype. In the Christmas I was missing home a lot. Although I have difficult relationship with my family, I was missing that sense of safety, that warmth from childhood.
Also just before Christmas I had a nervous breakdown and a major depressive episode (diagnosed). I was yearning for some comfort like crazy.

At it's core it may seem shocking, but you have to view the symbology, and the truth of most relationships, people tend to look for someone that has the traits of their opposite parent, in the event that it's a positive relationship, sometimes negative, to fulfill them in relationships. That's why you have the age old saying of 'he married his mom'. Your anima representing your mom could mean you are sexually attracted to someone who has those same motherly traits. This is rather normal, so it could mean that you are unconsciously seeking someone who provides that same kind of comfort. Though I would stop from jumping to conclusions because the entirety of the dream could offer more contextual information that may unlock more meaning. Analyze the whole dream, and try to be truthful with yourself while also viewing things symbolically.
