Before I got married to , he knew I had a child out of wedlock and he accepted her and promised to treat her as his own and we have been living in peace till the day I bumped into him .

I called Demola to inform him but his phone was switched off, so I had to take a taxi home. I was surprised when I saw his car in the compound when I got back. I guessed he must have come home for something.
I had earlier sent Timi to the market, so when I went inside and did not see her, I thought she had gone to buy the foodstuff I had instructed her to.
I went to our bedroom and when I did not find Demola there and I went to the kitchen, thinking he would be there but he was not there. Instinctively, I made for Timi's room. On opening the door, I was almost thrown back by the force of what I saw.
There was my husband naked and in his full glory, humping on my equally naked daughter who was apparently enjoying the sexual intercourse. It was glaring that Demola did not rape her because she was equally responding to his thrusts.
I must have frozen on the spot for close to a minute and they did not know they had company. It was my screams that brought them back to earth and before I passed out, I saw them scramble apart.
I came out of coma in the hospital and that was when the reality hit me that I had caught my husband and daughter having sex.
All this happened two months ago and since then, I have not gone back to the house neither do I want anything to do with my husband and daughter.
They have been sending emissaries to beg me on their behalf and even my family members have been imploring on me to forgive them but how on earth can I live with the two of them again, with the picture still playing in my head?

Like most mums, Rebecca rarely finds the time to scratch herself.
The single mum-of-six kids, aged between 13 and 2, has been helping out a friend in need.
“Over the past two months, I've been taking care of two households and two families. My friend recently got a job and she has three kids,” she tells Kidspot.
When the weekend comes around – the American mum takes some well-deserved afternoon naps.
“So I went and lay down with my two-year-old to give him his nap - and after a month of me being sick and being stuck in the house watching children all day, everyday – I kind of needed some stress relief,” she explains.
“My son fell asleep on his bed (we share a room, but not the same bed). I was laying there and my body was tired - but my mind wasn't, so I decided to you know... help myself ‘relax’ under the blanket.”

That’s when her 13-year-old daughter waltzed on in…
“She tried to sneak in my room to steal my bag of chips, so she didn’t knock because she thought I was sleeping.”
At first, like anyone would in that #awkies situation, Rebecca lied right there on the spot.
“I said ‘What? I'm scratching myself’ and she's like ‘sure Mum’ and so I said ‘OK, well do you mind? Can you close the door behind you please?’” she vividly recalls.
“I was going to stop because it was kind of awkward - that's the first time she ever walked in on me - but then I thought about it and I continued, and once I was finished - I was ready for my nap.
“When my son woke up, my daughter came and got him and let me finish sleeping, so I got a total of a three- hour nap!”

Rebecca said her daughter questioned why she decided to talk to Kidspot about the incident.
“I said’ well’ why not? You know there's so many close-minded parents out there in the world and they're damaging their children by not being honest with them - and so just maybe this will help a lot of other parents!” she says
Rather than being mortified that she was haring with the world - her eldest child saw Rebecca’s point.
“She's all for it! This child is 13 years old but acts like she's 23 as far as maturity-wise. I don't ever have to worry about her doing things that she shouldn't be doing because she's always been a good kid.
“She has never lied to me, not even a little white lie, so to me this is why it was so hilarious!”

Humour is something that is very important in Rebecca’s household
“After I woke up, I told her she was rude for walking in my room and she said she really wanted my hot chips," she says.
"I asked her if it was worth catching me and she just laughed and said ‘no because you didn't even let me get the chips!’”
Rebecca is a strong believer of not making a big deal about nudity.
“I take showers with my kids too, change my tampon in front of them...walk around naked. I've never made my body sexual to them - but since they came from it and one day they'll be wiping my bum, I figure I should get them use to it now!"
