I was talking to a girl about some sexual things, and somehow it slipped out that her mom taught her how to give a blow job. Of course, I had to ask her how that class went... she said she asked about it and her mom instructed her on her guy friend. It's a little embrassing, but I kinda learned about sex, from my younger cousin. Me and

her were having a conversation about tampons and she was explaining to me, were you

and I said "okay". That was it, that's how I learned that.

Everything else I learned about sex, I learned from Google and Wikipedia, they have

pictures. Very detailed pictures lol!

There was one thing my mom told me though, we were watching a movie on the Lifetime Network and somehow the topic of oral sex came up. And she said to me " giving is yucky, but recieving is wonderful. So, if you ever find yourself in the position to recieve, do so." I said "okay" and changed the subject lol. True story.

I've always been very open with my parents about sex, not like going in to details of being like 'I had sex last night, his semen tasted interesting'...but more just like actual discussions about sex ed, my mother took me to get contraception and luckily has no qualms about me having boyfriends sleep in my room. She unfortunately knows that I lost my virginity and told my dad and that was a conversation and a half. The actual physical side of 'if you do X it will feel good' no, and I'd never wish to have that kind of conversation even if my mother wanted me to...Basically, my mother was a hippy who has slept with more men than I'd care to think about. This kind of stuff is nothing to her.

Oh, and she bought me a very colorful, very informative book when I was 11 that taught me everything I need to know.

i learnt everything I know from the clan of the cave bear series. BY Jane M Auel started reading it when I was 6. Good stuff

The Sex in clan of the cave bear was hideous. essentially constant rape. But valley of the horses was well, there's nothing like it and u-tube. n.o.t.h.i.n.g. Tho, I could definitely do without the dialogue.. or the story behind it for that mater. Excellent technique tho. Then, it pretty much costs, in the subsequent books.
Sorry, I don't have any link. They are books, I took out from the library, & read over a decade ago. If you look them up on line, they will cut out all the good parts. Have to buy them, or take them out of the library, to get at the sex. As far as I know.

WTF It's not common in my family.

My mom tried to teach me about sex but she really talked about birth control and the basics. No demonstrations. Not even a picture book.

Thankfully, my school had a few classes every year and they taught us quite young so I was able to make smart decisions when I got older.
I have heard of mother/daughter being close, but that is gross. I couldn't bear the thought of that. However I know two girls that had to teach their mother what a "hummer" is. Guess as the mother gets older its funny, but teaching my daughter...no freaking way.
We never talk about sex in my family.

She once told me to use a condom each time, when I was around 12 or something. Not a very useful tip back then.. Anyway, I'm glad she didn't tell me anything else

no they never told me anything actually. jsut like jokes aobut it I heard my dad say to other people but not actual talks.
My parents basically acted as if sex never existed, never had the talk or anything of that nature. I honestly think it really affected me until I met a guy who taught me everything.
Absolutely nothing. If I ever have kids (and that’s a huge if), I plan on being open with them about anything they ask.
I'm definitely leaning towards a no-kids lifestyle personally. But I get what you're saying, I think it's good to be open with that stuff rather them learn it all from strangers.
