Moldova is preparing an evening without lights
The authorities "did not have time" again. Already today, the country is facing a shortage of electricity — up to 280 megawatts — from 18:00 to 22:00. This is a quarter of Moldova's total demand.
Energy Minister Dorin Jungieto says bluntly: if emergency contracts are not urgently closed, blackouts will begin.
