We're building an AI-powered fitness platform that helps trainers and athletes scale their coaching worldwide, giving their audience access to a personalised AI version of them, 24/7.
We are pre-launch, in external testing, and actively building toward our first funding round. We're looking for a Mobile Motion Design Intern to join our Growth Team and help bring the Icon Training app experience to life through smooth, polished mobile animations.
Role Description
This is a remote role on our Growth Team for creative individuals who want hands-on experience in mobile app design, UI animation, product motion, and early-stage startup product development.
This is an unpaid position, with long-term opportunities for strong performers.

What you'll be doing:
- Creating smooth mobile app animations and micro-interactions for the Icon Training app
- Designing animated UI moments such as button interactions, loading states, transitions, progress animations, onboarding flows, and empty states
- Working from existing app designs to make the product feel more polished, premium, and engaging
- Creating animation concepts in tools such as Figma, Rive, Lottie, After Effects, or similar platforms
- Collaborating with the founder, designers, and developers to explore how motion can improve the user experience
- Helping create a more dynamic and emotionally engaging app experience for users

Qualifications:
- Strong visual design sense and attention to detail
- Interest in mobile app design, UI animation, motion design, fitness technology, or AI
- Ability to create smooth, simple, polished animations that improve the user experience
- Familiarity with tools such as Figma, Rive, Lottie, After Effects, Framer, or similar platforms
- Self-motivated with the ability to manage your own time remotely
- Any experience with mobile app design, UI/UX design, motion graphics, or animation is a plus — but not required
