What MiteWindow does

MiteWindow puts your varroa season on one simple timeline per hive. Log a mite wash count, a treatment, honey supers going on, or a re-check, and MiteWindow works out the rest of the season for you: when the next treatment window opens, when the re-check is due, which products fit today’s temperature, and which one to skip because you used that family last time.

How to use the core flow

• Tap the round “+” button on a hive’s timeline to log a mite count, treatment, or re-check.
• Press and hold any block on the track and drag it to a new date — the re-check marker, the next legal window, and the temperature shading all move with it, and the season re-plans itself.
• The treatment picker greys out any product that doesn’t fit — too hot, supers on, or same family used last time — and always shows the reason.
• Settings → Rules shows every threshold and interval MiteWindow uses, with its source, and lets you adjust them per apiary.

Quick answers

• No account needed: MiteWindow has no sign-in and no internet connection — it runs fully offline, including in the beeyard with no signal.
• Your data stays on your device: everything is stored locally on your phone. Nothing is collected, synced to a server, or tracked.
• Free vs unlock: free for up to 2 hives — the complete tool, not a demo. One single one-time purchase (no subscription, ever) unlocks unlimited hives and apiaries plus firing re-check alerts.
• Restore a purchase: open Settings → Restore Purchase (also available on the unlock screen). Your unlock is tied to your Apple ID.
