This drama is unlike Sex and the City, where the women have a few drinks and share their sexual encounters with each other. Its much more personal and people can relate to it. Its much more engaging and emotional on a new level than other dramas focusing on women and their lives like "Sex and the City, Lipstick Jungle...." Dr. Katie Roden, is a psychologist with a dark secret, she seems much more depressed and guilt ridden than the rest of her 3 friends. She is dealing with the death of her former lover who was her patient while tackling his son's advances on her. Her sombre clothes and empty and cold house convey her inside emotions very well. Trudi Malloy, a widow is battling issues with "letting go" of her dead husband from 9/11. And when a handsome stranger, Richard shows an interest in her she is suddenly forced to do a reality check by her friends who suggest that she gets back into dating business. The ridiculous and embarrassing courting scenes between Richard and Trudi are totally funny! It is interesting to note that Richard asks her out the day she gets a millions from the 9/11 board for her husband's death..lets see what his intentions are Siobhan Dillon, a lawyer is fed up of her husband's love making tactics which only involve "baby making" (as they are having trouble conceiving) and she quickly falls for her colleague who offer his "services" a little too willingly to her and she does not hesitate for long!It will interesting to see whether she will continue her affair or patch up with her husband (played by Raza Jeffrey) Jessica, a real estate business woman is single and is straight, until she organizes a lesbian wedding and has an affair with one of them. Her character is shown as a bold and provocative woman who before her lesbian encounter is having sex with a "married man", her colleague. Lets see where her character venture to.... The beauty of this drama is that we are shown 4 totally different women with different scenarios, whose ambitions and inhibitions are shown. Its also a good thing that the drama reveals the fact that sometimes friends lie to each other to be "safe"!

Mistress ( Korean : 미스트리스 ; RR : Miseuteuriseu ) is a 2018 South Korean television series based on the 2008–10 U.K. series of the same name . It stars Han Ga-in , Shin Hyun-been , Choi Hee-seo and Goo Jae-yee . The series aired on OCN from April 28 to June 3, 2018 on Saturdays and Sundays at 22:20 ( KST ). [1] [2] [3]
Revolves around the story of four women in their 30s and their complex relationships - each on her own path to self-discovery as they brave the turbulent journey together.
The movie starts with Se-Yeon (Han Ga-In), Eun-Soo (Shin Hyun-Been), Jung-Won (Choi Hee-Seo) and Hwa-Young (Goo Jae-Yee) who have a dead man's body in front of them. Se-Yeon has three close friends: Eun-Soo, Jung-Won and Hwa-Young.
2 months prior, Se-Yeon runs a cafe. She has a daughter, whom she loves very much. Her husband died 2 years earlier, but his body was never found. She then receives a phone call without a caller ID number. The caller plays a song that was her husband's favorite song, unnerving her. Song-Hoon (Lee Hee-Joon), a divorced father whose daughter attends the same kindergarten as Se-Yeon's daughter, tries to initiate a romantic relationship with her. Se-Yeon's friends encourage her to pursue this relationship.
Eun-Soo works as a psychiatrist. One day, her patient Sun-Ho (Jung Ga-Ram) tells her that he is looking for his dead father's mistress. He believes that the mistress killed his father. Sun-Ho vows to kill this mistress, hinting that he is aware of Eun-Soo's relationship with his late father. Eun-Soo does not tell her client that she is the one who had the secret affair with his father, nor that she was the one who found his dead body. Eun-Soo also has another secret.
Jung-Won is a high school teacher. She is married to famous chef Dong-Seok (Park Byung-Eun). He seems like the perfect husband. Dong-Seok wants to have a child badly, but Jung-Won doesn't know the real reason why her husband wants a child. Dong-Seok continuously tracks Jung-Won's ovulation. Meanwhile, Min-Gyu (Ji Il-Joo) is a temporary teacher at the same high school where Jung-Won teaches. Min-Gyu ultimately blackmails her after seeing her leave a motel, knowing it will cause the vice principal at her school to fire her, however, Min-Gyu has an ulterior motive.
Hwa-Young works as an office administrator at a law firm. She enjoys her single life and she doesn't want to be tied down with one man. One day, a female client comes and requests that someone secretly follow her husband Tae-O (Kim Min-Soo). Hwa-Young takes this task but realizes that the man is Hwa-Young's ex-boyfriend.

This provocative, thrilling drama finds four friends caught in a storm of excitement and self-discovery, secrecy and betrayal as they are drawn into the world of illicit and complex relationships. 30-something friends Katie, Trudi, Siobhan and Jessica met at university, but their lives have taken very different turns. Katie, a doctor, has been having a relationship with one of her patients; Trudi is grieving a husband lost in 9/11; bubbly bed-hopper Jessica remains ecstatically single, while lawyer Siobhan seems happily married.
All the girls find themselves in tricky situations as they figure out how to deal with the new man (or woman) in their lives. Sam desperate to find his father's mistress is unaware that it was Katie and looks to her for help. As Katie spends more time getting to know Sam and less worrying about her secret, it seems there may be more to the two than a casual friendship. Trudi finds herself feeling like she is back in high school, when she and Richard's first date turns out painfully awkward. Siobhan feels guilty about sleeping with Dominic, but when Hari viciously reacts to being infertile, she finds herself driven back to her co-worker. The feelings between Jessica and Alex have gone from cold to hot and their flirtatious friendship is beginning to escalate, right before the wedding.
Drama and lust escalate as the girls find themselves giving into temptation. Katie tries to fight for her feelings for Sam, but is unable to get him off her mind, she finally opens up to his advances. Siobhan fights with her attraction to Dominic and commitment to Hari, but when she finds out she is pregnant all of her problems change. Trudi feels inadequate when it comes to sex, and tells Richard she just isn't ready. After working on her confidence and her figure, Trudi feels ready and seduces him over lunch. But she soon finds that a new problem is waiting for her, when a woman named Sally comes to her house claiming to be Paul's lover. Jessica and Alex make love, but Jessica ignores Alex's offers to cancel the wedding. It is not until the ceremony that Jessica realizes that she might have made a mistake in saying no.
As secrets and surprises start building up, the girls start to crack under the pressure. Trudi is upset and confused by Sally's claim that she was Paul's lover. The girls comfort Trudi telling her that there can be no truth in what Sally says. As Sally begins to provide evidence of her relationship with Paul, the idea of an affair gets harder to ignore. The other girls are all dealing with doubt and denial as well. Jessica attempts to shake off her feelings for Alex with filtrations, hook-ups, and even a threesome, but nothing works. Could she be in love? Siobahn finds that Dominic isn't the fathering type, leaving her to wonder how Hari will react to her miraculous pregnancy. Katie and Sam seem to be going strong, but how will he react when he finds out about Katie's affair with his father?
