A woman who declares herself to be ‘the world’s oldest dominatrix’ has baffled This Morning viewers by revealing she doesn’t sleep with clients – just humiliates them.
Sherry from Swindon – who goes by the name Mistress Sophia – has high-rising clients including surgeons and politicians who turn to her to fulfil their desire to be mistreated and relinquish control.
Charging £120 an hour, Mistress Sophia uses them to clean her house, do her DIY , before flogging them, putting them in shackles and dressing them up in embarrassing costumes.
As a result, she is left feeling empowered, and declared: ‘I’m a masochist, darling.’
Speaking to Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield, the 67-year-old – who has previously appeared on First Dates – said that she took on the job after a divorce from her husband.
Calling herself ‘a bit of a mouse’ before taking on the role, she was forced to get creative when money became tight and her job as a chef wasn’t paying the bills.
‘I happened to see this documentary about phone chat girls, and so I spoke to my children to make sure they were okay about it and I started doing that,’ she explained. ‘I realised that so many of the calls involved domination.
‘It was actually my daughter Amy that said you’re doing it on the phone for peanuts, why not do it for real?’
While some want punishment, others want to be humiliated and be submissive, and Mistress Sophia has a series of whips, chains, shackles and costumes to put them in – even sometimes taking them out for a walk around her area.
‘It’s great because you get stuff done around the house!’ Phillip admitted. ‘I mean there’s this one guy comes over and does your DIY, then he cane him, and then there’s another one that polishes your kitchen floor while he dances in a pink dress to the Nutcracker.’
‘I just love the adoration. I like the empowerment,’ the dominatrix added.
‘It isn’t sexual for me, it is purely the dominant part. I’m a very dominant person. I didn’t used to be but I am now. It’s kind of come out as I’ve got older, really, and made me a better person for it.’

A grandmother who calls herself Britain's oldest dominatrix says her career has made her a 'better person', and that her only regret is that she didn't start sooner. 
Sherry Lever, 70, from Swindon, is a former chef who began working as a dominatrix when her husband of 25 years left her in 2012, and revealed her clients range from 'judges to bin men'. 
The grandmother goes by the name Mistress Sofia, and charges men £120 an hour to 'humiliate them' - including making them clean her home while wearing a pink maid's outfit, and walking them outside her home like a dog. 
Appearing on This Morning, she insisted she loves the 'adoration and the empowerment' her job brings, and explained that it's often men in 'high powered jobs' who enjoy being submissive.

'They all have their own agenda,' said Sherry. 'Some just do it because it's a little quirk, others it's a need, they need to be submissive - they have high powered jobs. 
'I have everyone from judges down to bin men, if it's in you, it's in you to be submissive and not all women want a submissive partner.' 
Sherry often gets her clients to do work around her house, including cleaning, and says the men she 'punishes' simply want to 'please her. 
'They just want to please', she said. 'So domination is all about submission, it's about servitude and worship, they worship my feet, I do have pretty feet. 
Sherry (pictured in one of her outfits) described how she began as a phone sex operator at first, following her divorce 
'I just love the adoration and the empowerment, it isn't sexual for me, it is purely the dominant part. I am a very dominant person, it's come out since i've got older and made me a better person for it.' 
As for her neighbours, Sherry says they're used to seeing men in strange outfits being walked on a lead outside her home - but she draws the line at taking her gimp out for a stroll. 
'My neighbours are used to it, she said. 'I've been doing it for years, my family and friends are all fine. 
'If I take someone out it's like a bunny rabbit or Shrek, it's something that's embarrassing. I wouldn't take a gimp out because there are children around and I wouldn't want to frighten anyone.'

The grandmother decided to reinvent herself after watching a documentary about phone sex when her marriage fell apart, and struggling to pay the bills, began working as a sex hotline operator. 
'I had no idea that that was in me,' she said. 'I was quite the little mouse actually. It came about because when I was left I was financially embarrassed and working as a chef wasn't covering the bills.
'So I was looking for something else and I saw this documentary about phone chat girls, and I asked my children to see if they're okay about it and I started doing that. 
'I noticed that so many of the calls were to do with domination and it was actually my daughter that said, "You're doing it for peanuts, why not do the real thing?".
Sherry (pictured with one of her clients) explained how she gets her middle-aged clients to clean her house while wearing French maid outfits 
She added later: 'That's my only regret that he didn't leave me years ago, there is so much I still want to do'. 
The dominatrix explained that her clients are all after different things from their sessions, from being 'punished' to being dressed in a 'beautiful little outfit'. 
'How it works', she said, 'It's a minefield there are so many different aspects, some could want punishment, some could be want to be dressed in a beautiful little maid's outfit, some want to be humiliated, just all sorts of different things. 
Sherry now acts as a mentor for older dominatrix's looking to start a new career. 
She said: 'When I started I would have loved someone to mentor me, so I decided because I learned from my mistakes, I wouldn't want anyone else to make my mistakes .'

A British grandmother has shocked after deciding to ditch her career as a chef for something more X-rated following her divorce from her husband of 25 years.
Sherry Lever , 69, decided she wanted a higher paying job after her divorce and decided to try out life as a phone sex worker before then becoming a dominatrix.
"It started simply because I needed to make some extra money and I’d gone through a very bad divorce," Sherry, AKA 'Mistress Sofia', told The Morning Show .
"I wasn’t earning enough as a chef and I came across a documentary about phone chat girls and I decided I’d give it a go."
She soon discovered many of the calls were about domination and she realised she was "very dominant", but those urges had been "subdued".
The mother-of-three shared that her children are completely understanding of her new career, where she charges men upwards of $220 an hour to "humiliate them" while they clean her home and undergoing tasks while wearing costumes and masks.
She also explained that there's no specific type of man who likes to be submissive and her clients range from "a high court judge down to a dustman".
Mistress Sofia said she wanted to address the misconception that what she does is sex work because she doesn't even allow her clients to touch her anywhere other than her feet.
After first being interviewed on TV, she received countless emails from women asking for advice on getting into the profession.
"It really touched me and it actually made me feel I was helping somebody who had been in my situation," she told Barcroft TV .
She is now teaching other women how to become dominatrixes.
"They have to meet my criteria, so they have to be in a place in their lives I was in when I first started," she explained, adding she wished she had a mentor when she started out.
"It’s very important with something like whipping – you can’t just pick up a cane and go caning, because there are places you can’t cane."
