"Bryant is an author who definitely knows how to tell a story."—APOOO Book Club

Niobia Bryant thrills readers with a bold, sexy story about a mistress who's ready to reveal all her dirty little secrets . . .

Jessa Bell shocked the hell out of her three best friends when she announced she was having an affair with one of their husbands—then refused to say which one. She's been reveling in watching them self–destruct. But now, caught between an ex–lover who won't let her go, and a new lover who's more than happy to, Jessa's ready to confront the ladies, reveal the truth, and move on. Maybe her stunt will even send her latest married man back into her arms for good. But she'll soon find out revenge isn't just sweet—it can be deadly. Because nothing will ever be the same once Jessa Bell decides she's a mistress no more . . .

🚨🚨SPOILER ALERT🚨🚨

From a Male POV this book was..difficult to accept. Are there levels of betrayal, or is it the same, no matter the action? If there is no consummation is that not the same as actual consummation if that was the intent? To be nude in a hotel room with another person that isn't your significant other is cheating NO MATTER what is done, IMHO.

I felt like there was too much rationalization. Who hurt whom more. Who betrayed whom more. A kiss can destroy a relationship just as much as a full blown affair, IMHO. There are no levels, betrayal is betrayal. To treat it as you hurt me more so I have the upper hand is ridiculous to me. Who am I to dismiss the feelings of someone else? Everyone is entitled to feel what they feel. All parties in the book were at fault EQUALLY as far as I'm concerned, except for Kingston!!! Lawd, that couldn't of been me!!!🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾

A good tale, but I felt like the author let some of the female characters off too easy. Also the failings of some were somehow worse, even if precipitated by the actions of the other. Not everyone will turn the other cheek. "For every action, there is an equal, or opposite reaction."- Newton. I know this quote is about physics and motion, but it so often pertains to E-motion. If you push too hard, usually your man/woman will more than likely push back.

It may be cruel to say, but everyone in this book got what they deserved, and most didn't get enough as far as I'm concerned. Enough of my proselytizing!!!😁😁😁 Good yarn, I can't lie about that.😁😁😁 Buy it, read it and enjoy!!👍🏾🔥👍🏾🔥👍🏾🔥👍🏾🔥

Although this one gave up the info it was a tad bit better than book 1. However, I was really surprised about Eric. Unfortunately, #2 is where I stop. I got what I wanted and not interested in any other books that follow. Very talented writer. Thanks for a good read.

I've read all the reviews, & I just about agree with them all. Everyone had a means to an ends ending...except for me...Jackson and Renee's storyline. I don't want to give the ending away...but I just wanted to know if Renee ended her marriage...based on Jackson not picking her up from rehab? Renee other issues she had & needs to face instead were never addressed. Renee only wanted to deal with Jacksons issues (which were major). She had short comings as well. They never discused their problems...that's my only issue with their storyline. All of the problems each woman faced...they only discused them with their girlfriends...not with their mates. I was into the book, but I can't say I got anything out of it. Like what was the purpose...like the grown wowmen acted more like children...I mean like not talking about their issues. Maybe I'm not looking at the big picture, or maybe you have to read to much in between the lines to figure out each story line...or atleast Renee and Jackon's story.

I hope the next book in the series it's only about Jessica Bell from start to finish. Her storyline should be over.

This book dragged on as much as the first book. This book takes place over months instead of a day like the first one did and thankfully it lacks the 50 million flashbacks that the first book contained. We learn which husband Jessa was having the affair with about half way through, but it was a husband I didn't really care about so I actually wanted it to be him so the other two couples could work on their marriages. We all knew the wives' secrets were gonna come out eventually so there wasn't much suspense when they finally did. There wasn't any closure at the end. This book left a lot of unanswered questions. I wish there had been an epilogue that told what happened a few months or so after everything that happened at the end. Trying not to include any spoilers but we really didn't learn anything we didn't know in the first book other than which husband Jessa "stole". I don't feel like this book was necessary at all and instead of dragging out the first book so much, the information in this book should have been included in the first one. I do like how Niobia Bryant is one of the few authors who can have different characters in the same book without them all feeling like the same character with a different name, but this book should have been filled with way more drama so that's why I'm giving it 3 stars.

Mistress No More is filled with drama. Not only a supposed best friend sends her 3 friends a text that she is sleeping with one of their husbands, this go around she tells all of the husbands their secrets. Jessa Bell leaves nothing out. She is shameless and has no conscience. Her actions causes Renee to turn to drinking, Aria to doubt her husband's fidelity, Jaime to cheat on her husband, Eric to show his true colors, Jackson to become angry with his wife although he is the main cause for his marriage to go down hill, and Kingston to leave his wife. If I had a friend like Jessa, I wouldn't need enemies. She is the ultimate backstabber all in the name of love. I read this one in a day and I can't wait to read part three. This one is a keeper and a must read.

Not everyone can survive serious trouble in their marriage, especially when the one causing the problems is supposed to be your friend. In Message from a Mistress, Ms. Jessa Bell, wreaks havoc on her three friends - Jamie, Aria, and Renee - and their husbands. In the first book, Jessa sent an email to her friends saying she had been having an affair with their husband but didn't say which one. In this sequel, we find out the drama that unfolds when women are scorned. The issues are non-stop making the entire read "OMG" worthy. Be ready to be shocked as you read how four women mend relationships, find themselves in the mist of drama, and learn from their past mistakes. This book comes in short of five stars because there are several questions revolving around Aria and I wanted the ladies to know what happened to Jessa.
