Fishing Trips on board the Mistress Linda operate on a daily basis all year round from Poole Quay in Dorset. This charter fishing boat is licensed for up to 12 passengers + 2 crew and is suitable for all levels of angler from first time budding anglers through to International level boat angling. Bookings can be from full boat charter, small group or individual.
On board we offer expert guidance and tuition delivered in a professional and very friendly way to assist all anglers, allowing them to relax and enjoy their day afloat.
Our fishing trips include deep sea fishing & wreck fishing for Cod, Pollock, Ling and Conger eels, offshore bank fishing for Bass, Spurdogs & Rays, and drift fishing for Turbot, Brill, Tope & Plaice. Inshore sea fishing targets the superb fighting Sea Bream, Mackerel and many other species. Photography and Corporate fishing trips can be tailored to suit your requirements.
Bournemouth Air show, Family days, Birthdays and Parties which can include sea fishing, BBQs and swimming are ideal for those wanting to break the day up and relax. Toilet and shower facilities are available along with lots of hot drinks served with a smile and usually a laugh at the skipper’s expense.
Boat fishing trips from Poole offer so much more than angling, we have the 2nd largest natural harbour in the world which includes several small islands offering protection from the elements and all its wildlife to the stunning views of the Jurassic Coast line. There are so many species to be caught from Poole that it has become a favourite for competition anglers, the shallow protected waters of Poole Bay make it ideal for budding anglers and not too far away are the Banks, reefs, wrecks and the Isle of Wight fishing grounds, all easily reached by the fast cruising speed of the Mistress Linda for the more serious angler.
Anglers are encouraged to try new ways of fishing and a conservation policy is operated, we have facilities to keep any fish caught fresh for your journey home.
Our fishing boat is a modern twin engine Bullet DS38 charter special. It has a cruising speed of 15 to 18kts (loaded) & has been professionally built to an extremely high specification with no expense spared then or now. It has state of the art Twin MFD navigation systems, a heated wheel house, H/C running water, toilet/ shower, hot drinks, oven and so much more.
The Mistress Linda fishing boat & it’s crew can also take on light commercial work boat duties.
I started fishing from Poole in 1968 as a young lad and I’m still enjoying it today. I have a vast knowledge of the area surrounding Poole built up over many years as an angler and skipper. My passion for fishing helps create the atmosphere enjoyed on board and the willingness to ‘go the extra mile’ for every angler. Over the years I’ve been awarded top skippers prize in every competition fished from Poole.
