I tried this for the first time and never used anything from the company before. I have thick curly hair and live in HOT/HUMID Florida where you roast in the shade. I just had my hair cut short and this balm keeps my hair in place without the frizz. I just use a little and let my hair air dry. It is a little stiff however the hair looks soft. I purchased the sample first because of the price. After one use, I ordered the larger size. I have not ever found any gel, cream or frizz products that come even close to this product. I wish it was not so high in price however it only takes a small amount so it should last and I have very thick hair.

This product smells amazing, a little more expensive than I like but I wanted to give it a try. I have long curly hair and need a product for my days when I blow dry and straighten it, I want a product to protect my hair, moisture and add shine while smelling like I came from the salon. I thought I would get it in this bottle but my hair did not do well with it. It makes it very frizzy! Impossible to keep straight and I live in San Diego there is not much humidity to explain the frizz, the scent goes away too quickly, like you blow dried your hair and it’s gone quickly. Overall for curly hair to straighten this is not the product.
