Ex-Miss USA and TV actress Kelli McCarty has left her fans shocked after making a new career choice-a porn star.
Starting out as a beauty queen, McCarty took home the title of Miss USA in 1991 and even made it to the finalists in the Miss Universe pageant. The 39-year-old from Kansas, then took up acting and played Beth Wallace on the soap opera, Passions.
However, recently Kelli bid adieu to mainstream acting for a career in the adult entertainment business.
And now that Kelli has wrapped on her first XXX film, Faithless , she says that she enjoys her new profession.
"I enjoy acting, and I really like sex ... so this was the perfect opportunity to combine two of my passions," The Daily Telegraph quoted her as saying.

"La La Land" Wins Then Loses to "Moonlight":

At the 2017 Academy Awards, Faye Dunaway mistakenly named "La La Land" as the Best Picture winner. The real winner was "Moonlight," in what's being dubbed the biggest Oscar flub of all time. Take a stroll down live TV memory lane and revisit the most humiliating mistakes in history:

"Oprah, Uma. Uma, Oprah.":

David Letterman opened his turn as host of the 1995 Oscars by cracking a joke about Uma Thurman and Oprah Winfrey. The awkward moment has since gone down as one of the most iconic moments in the award show's history.

And Steve Harvey, Miss Philippines can never take that away from her
Miss Colombia Ariadna Gutierrez is having an up-and-down sort of week. The almost-Miss Universe now has a $1 million offer to do porn, and it’s only Wednesday (though perhaps the Hump Day offer marks appropriate timing).
TMZ published Vivid Entertainment boss Steve Hirsch’s letter offering the beauty pageant contestant a million bucks to do adult films for his company.
“You will pick your partners, the type of sex you want to have and how many movies you ultimately appear in,” Hirsh wrote.
He pointed out that the most memorable pageant queen for most remains Vanessa Williams , who got a boost of notoriety for appearing in Penthouse magazine. Now, he said, she has a legitimate career.
“Celebrity sex tapes we have distributed have enhanced the careers of stars such as Kim Kardashian , Kendra Wilkinson, Pamela Anderson and many others,” Hirsh’s pitch continued.
But wait, there’s more! Hirsh even promised to “commission the making of the first Vivid Girl Crown for you,” he said, “and we believe it will be grander than anything Miss Philippines will ever wear.”
Guitierrez was initially crowned Miss Universe on Sunday, enjoying the title for a good minute or two. Then, host Steve Harvey crushed her realized dream after Fox producers told the comedian he had read the cue card wrong.
The title actually belonged to her competitor from the Philippines, and Gutierrez was only first runner-up.
The screw-up made for some really awkward TV, and birthed many memes online, as well as a new lucrative career opportunity.
Best Picture error is arguably biggest in history, but its far from first

Miss Delaware Teen USA has resigned after allegations that a porn video of her has surfaced on the internet.
Though previously denying any such video existed, Melissa King, 18, officially gave up her crown today.
A spokesperson for the Miss Teen USA pageant released a statement saying: 'I would like to confirm the Miss Delaware Teen USA pageant has received a resignation letter from Miss King’s attorney.'
The video is believed to have been shot some time in June 2012. At the beginning of the video, a girl in a purple patterned dress who looks very like Melissa sits on a bed and answers questions from the man behind the camera.

Similarities: King’s birthday is in March, according to the Miss Delaware Teen USA website, the same as the girl in the porn video
King was crowned Miss Delaware Teen USA in November, four months after the sex footage was shot.
The man asks her when she turned 18, she replies: 'Three months ago, in March.'

The interviewer then asks her what made her want to do her first adult video.
'I thought it'd be fun and it sounded like I needed the money,' the young girl says. 'So I just decided to do it.'
The interviewer asks more questions, including if she has a boyfriend, when was the last time she had sex and how old she was the first time she had sex.
According to Delaware Online , the interview then fades to another set of questions where she is asked about being a 'Miss. A Miss Teen?'
Allegations: A porn website posted a sex video on Monday featuring a woman who looks and sounds like Melissa King claiming it is the teen pageant winner
Melissa wrote on her Facebook on Sunday: 'I'm about to turn 19 and so much has changed for the better in my life in the past year... Nothing can bring me down:)'
When the woman acts reluctant to talk about it, he says 'I’m not going to say the state or anything. ... You did beauty pageants?”
'I’ve done them, yes,' she responds.

I'm about to turn 19 and so much has changed for the better in my life in the past year... Nothing can bring me down:)'
A rep for the pageant said they have already reached out to the first runner-up Hailey Lawler in order to replace King.

Miss Teen USA just crowned the 2016 winner on Saturday at the Venetian Hotel in Las Vegas: Miss Teen Texas, Karlie Hay .
But she didn't get to celebrate for long. Just hours after accepting her title, the new Miss Teen USA found herself in the midst of a scandal.
Tweets from Hay's Twitter account resurfaced from 2013 and 2014 in which she used the N-word and racial slurs multiple times.
The 18-year-old quickly released a statement to explain herself. "Several years ago, I had many personal struggles and found myself in a place that is not representative of who I am as a person. I admit that I have used language publicly in the past which I am not proud of and that there is no excuse for," she wrote on Instagram. "Through hard work, education and thanks in large part to the sisterhood that I have come to know through pageants, I am proud to say that I am today a better person."
She continued, "I am honored to hold this title and I will use this platform to promote the values of The Miss Universe Organization, and my own, that recognize the confidence, beauty and perseverance of all women."
But Hay isn't alone in finding herself in the middle of controversy. Check out 6 more of the biggest scandals surrounding the Miss Teen USA pageant:
Miss South Carolina Teen USA 2007, Caitlin Upton: The pageant contestant came under harsh scrutiny after giving a fumbled interview answer during the 2007 pageant.
When asked why some Americans might not be able to identify their country on a map, Upton responded, "I personally believe U.S. Americans are unable to do so because, uh, some people out there in our nation do not have maps and, uh, I believe that our education like such as in South Africa and, uh, the Iraq, everywhere like such as. I believe that they should, our education over here in the U.S. should help the U.S., uh, or, uh, should help South Africa and should help the Iraq and the Asian countries, so we will be able to build up our future."
The backlash was so bad, Upton revealed she contemplated suicide at one point.
Miss Teen Delaware 2013, Melissa King: The brunette resigned from her reign as Miss Teen Delaware in 2013 after her alleged sex tape surfaced. While she denied the woman in the film was her, she gave up her tiara shortly after the scandal.
Miss Teen Louisiana 2008, Lindsey Evans: The teen pageant queen made headlines after she was caught dining and dashing at a restaurant and leaving a bag of marijuana behind.
Today.com reported that Evans skipped out on a $46 restaurant tab, leaving her purse behind with a bag of marijuana inside. Recreational use of marijuana in Louisiana was (and still is) illegal, which is what led to her eventually losing her crown.
Miss Teen USA 2013, Cassidy Wolf: The blonde beauty from California found herself in the middle of a sextortion case in 2013.
A person from her high school broke into her computer and remotely turned on her webcam, capturing her most personal moments in her bedroom. He then blackmailed and extorted the photos and videos. Eventually, investigators found him, and he confessed to the wrongdoings.
Swimsuit Scandal: Ahead of the 2016 Miss Teen USA, the Miss Universe officials announced that they would be eliminating the swimsuit portion of the competition, which had received backlash for featuring the 14 to 19-year-old teens in very little clothing. It was also criticized due to the purpose of the pageant, which is to award scholarships to young women who "lead active, purposeful lives."
Thus, the pageant replaced it with athleisure wear in hopes of showing their support for feminism and equality.
Lack of Diversity in the 2016 Top 5: The controversy surrounding Hay aside, the 2016 Miss Teen USA pageant also saw backlash due to the lack of diversity in the top 5 finalists of the night: Hay, Miss North Carolina Emily Wakeman , second runner-up Miss South Carolina Marley Stokes , Miss Alabama Erin Snow and Miss Nevada Carissa Morrow.
Chrissy Teigen was one of the many people to point out the issue on Twitter, sharing a photo of the five blonde-haired, blue eyed women, writing, "Wow how can we choose from such a diverse bunch."
