Mirror is a lewd Match-3 puzzle game featuring sexy fantasy waifus. Developed by KAGAMI WORKs and published by Paradise Project on Steam , the game was released on the 19th of April 2018.
Fight against sexy waifus in addictingly fun Match-3 puzzle boards with semi-unique gameplay mechanics. Follow short stories between battles and through victories work your way towards lewd content to enjoy. There are up to 8 sexy anime girls to battle against, each possessing their own unique combat style and H-scene!
In Mirror, you move tokens on a board to match 3 or more similar pieces to deal damage to your enemy. Not all tokens are created equal but rather, each offers a unique benefit for different situations. By matching tokens, one must focus to deal maximum damage each turn in order to defeat their enemy before running out of turns. If the enemy still stands by the end of 40 turns, it is Game Over. The same is true if the enemy manages to deplete your health to zero as you are not the only one fighting — Mirror is turn-based combat in Match-3 format.
As waifus suffer damage when battling, their clothes get torn off. This is but just one reward for performing well in battle. When winning, you get to advance a waifu’s story, and once having won at least 3 times, it is time for some delicious H-content. This is the gameplay loop of Mirror for up to 8 girls and potentially more if getting the 4-character DLC .
Mirror offers short visual novel-styled storytelling in between battles. Each waifu has its own tiny story to follow, guided by Japanese female voice acting. These stories are nothing to write home about but they do help establish a reason for battles and create somewhat of a personality around each waifu. In one story you might follow a nerdy fat cosplay fan in Anime Expo, in another, you are a demon disguised as a human who owns his own wealthy mansion, and so on.
For those interested to create their own stories similar to Mirror, KAGAMI WORKs sells their own visual novel maker . For just the price of a cup of coffee, you have the power to create your very own visual novel stories. Do note however that I have not had the chance to test the visual novel maker to see if it is actually worth recommending.
Match-3 puzzles in Mirror are turn-based in which you fight against sexy waifus by matching tokens and avoiding special attacks unique to each waifu. Each icon on board represents a certain type of attack or defense ability that activates when matched.
Swords are for dealing physical damage, purple stars for magical damage, orange glowing orbs to increase overall damage output, and green potions for healing. When matching these tokens in greater numbers than three, more powerful tokens appear in their place. The player is encouraged to try to pair as many tokens in one turn as possible in order to deal a lot of damage enough to defeat the enemy before running out of turns.
Each Waifu not only possesses its very own abilities to challenge the player in a fun new way, but they also are different by stats that can give a reason to study them in order to come out victorious in each battle against a new waifu. Some can hit hard, while others are more resistant or have more health in general, but understanding the unique abilities is what matters the most.
Equip yourself with various skills that can help you change the tide of battle when in trouble. Winning Match-3 puzzles earns you money that can be spent on buying new skills and skill slots. You can also build strength, health, and other passive stats to make each of your moves stronger and future battles less difficult.
Mirror provides 8 characters in the base game, and when purchasing Mirror: The Lost Shards DLC , you get additional 4 new characters. Like before, all the DLC characters also come with their own unique story and abilities, only this time the stories are a tad bit longer with more background artwork to appreciate. Not only this but the H-scenes also come with a brand new intercourse option for all the 4 DLC characters, something that the base characters lack.
Mirror: The Lost Shards DLC helps prolong the lifespan of the game by an additional 1-2 hours or so, but more importantly, it gives high-quality content for a small price of a cup of noodles, making it a must-have if you find the base game entertaining to play through.
In Mirror you have 8 beautiful and sexy anime girls to enjoy, in battle and outside of it. While battling, waifus’ clothes can get torn off for your viewing pleasure. Once you have defeated a waifu 3 times in a Match-3 battle, you get to play a hentai minigame. Use different tools to inflict pain and pleasure upon a helpless waifu and see what end result awaits you based upon your actions. Each waifu has two endings, some of which can offer even more H-content in form of a visual novel cutscene.
When a waifu is defeated for the fourth time, Free-Discipline mode is unlocked in which you are free to have fun with a waifu without any pain or pleasure meters that can end the H-scene prematurely. You are also free to put on or remove waifus’ clothes at any time and simply just enjoy using any of the available pleasure tools for as long as you like.
Mirror offers both vanilla and hardcore hentai. Since the player is in control of what tools to use to pleasure waifus, one can go about it two ways. There is an option for hand play, licking, fingering, using SM tools, tentacles, and more! Each waifu plays out differently from one another and uses different tools to seek pleasure, but the overall mechanics remain the same.
Accessible from the main menu, Mirror provides a hentai gallery where you can view all of the waifus that have been defeated, their torn clothes, as well as static H-images.
When purchasing Mirror from Steam , the game is censored. Unfortunately, the developer does not offer easy access to an uncensored patch for their game, so one must seek the patch on their own. There are several versions available on the internet, some which work, some which do not, and some which work only partially. First, you must download “ gameasset “ file that will replace the old assets from the game with the uncensored ones. If the link does not work for some reason, you can simply try to google using “Mirror Nude Patch” to find a suitable website providing the patch — there are several and are easy to find.
Once you have got your hands on the “gameasset ” file, use it to replace the original one in Mirror’s folder, usually found in: Steam\SteamApps\common\Mirror\game_Data\StreamingAssets
To find your way to Mirror’s folder on your computer, there is an easy trick using Steam. Go to your game in Steam Library and with the right-click, select “properties”, and then “local files”, and then “browse”. This will take you straight to a folder where Steam installed your game.
Once having replaced the “gameasset” file, you can now start Mirror and see if the game is uncensored. There is a very high chance that the game might still be censored, or partially censored. In such a case, continue to step 3. Don’t forget step 2 if you own Mirror DLC.
To uncensor Mirror DLC characters, simply download the dlcasset file and place it in: Steam\steamapps\common\Mirror\save
Again, there can be a chance that the game is still censored despite your best efforts, but in this case, continue to step 3.
For some reason, this worked for me, and I hope it works for you too! To fully uncensor Mirror when everything else has failed, as a last resort, you can download a 100% completed save file of Mirror, including all the DLC characters (even if you do not own the DLC).
Download the 100% save file and place it in: Steam\steamapps\common\Mirror\save
Make sure you have not created a save file for the 4th slot inside the game, as this will replace your old existing progress in that case, so remember to backup the file if you wish not to lose your progress. You can save your own progress in any of the 1-3 slots but not the 4th because this is for the 100% completed save file that you just downloaded, understood?
Once you have placed the dlcasset file in the “save” folder, you can now start up Mirror and see if the game is uncensored. You should have the 4th game save slot displaying the 100% completed version, including DLC characters. If you do not own the DLC characters yet, you can simply view them but you can not actually play them until you purchase the DLC.

Mirror offers more than meets the eye, and more than what is expected of it for the price it asks. It is a charming little Match-3 experience that can provide entertainment for an evening or two for a price so low it feels almost like a free-to-play title. Though its visual novel stories never reach a level of any significance, the artwork of both characters and backgrounds can still be stunning and easy to enjoy. When it comes to the Match-3 puzzles, they are entertainingly addicting and in some places even challenging. Mirror’s strength lies in its ability to provide fun gameplay rewarded with delicious Hentai at the end of it. For the fans of Match-3 puzzles and anyone wishing to get into the genre, Mirror is an easy title to recommend!
KAGAMI WORKs has announced Mirror 2 which is currently in development. Despite a failed Kickstarter campaign , this has not stopped the team from continuing to work on the sequel. Mirror 2 is a jump from 2D to 3D and is confirmed to have DLC characters. More information about the sequel will be provided at a later date, stay tuned.
