MJ Miniature thermocouple connectors are designed for light gauge wire 24 AWG or less and sheaths .125” or smaller. They feature a glass filled thermoplastic body and cover and matching thermocouple materials, polarized sockets are mated with a male mini-plug connector . Feature a sandwich style screw connection. Wire sizes up to 24 AWG (0.2mm) and accepts cable sizes up to .17” diameter or (4.5mm). Miniature connectors are available in ASTM/ANSI or optional IEC and DIN color codes. Maximum temperature rating of 392° (200°C). Optional wire clamps and accessories are available for field installation.

Test Adapters: Jolgoo $10 Boya $15 SevenOaks $12.50 Recorder Used Zoom H6 (+12V, +24V, +48V Phantom Power) $250 Zoom F6 (+24V and +48V Phantom Power) $400 or $500 (Can't Remember) Mic: Sony ECM-CS10 $20 Recording Settings: 96KHz/24-Bit PCM WAV Results: ONLY this and the Boya could handle EVERY voltage I threw at it. Which for $10 really impressed me. THOUGH, the extra dangly bit may be great if you have oddly bulky connectors for some reason, I don't know; but it worries me that due to the dangle it is more prone to getting snagged and broken. This is why this came in second over the Boya. Conclusion: If you're on a budget, you really can't go wrong, as I said, this was literally the second one to handle 48V Phantom Power without issue. The recording sounded great, the adapter didn't seem to add any processing. While yes, the dangle aspect of it may have me worried, the cord and the connectors on both the XLR and 3.5 Female feel above their price tag. One thing to note, and I should have assumed this, but didn't; this records in MONO, the mic I used records in stereo but can easily handle MONO. In case that wasn't obvious.

This is a super high quality stereo mic adapter. Casing and hardware are very sturdy with gold plated connectors. Flexible but durable. Connections fits nice and tight, just what you want. Was not aware this is a stereo 1/8' to stereo" XLR" when I bought this, although product description could not be clearer. You need a specialty wired stereo xlr female to receive signals in xlr stereo and you will get mono if you do not have this wired in this position. Just remember you are relieving ch 2 from the 1/8" stereo lead hot on mic lead 2.There may be a need to mute the second channel to get quiet mono. I have ran upon many situations In my career where I could have used this quality adapter and "saved the day" on a gig by quickly patching into a sound system, pleasing my (PowerPoint) clients . Been seen multiple times in sound person's patchbays. Be sure to add this to your tech bag so when it happens you can "save the day" too, and look like a rock star. Highly recommend this product manufacturer to a friend

Was purchased to pass sound from a dji wireless lav mic system receiver into a mixer. The cable we were using before was 15 ft long, which took up way too much space for its use and location. This was to replace it as the receiver it would be connected to would be sitting right next to the mixer, and is very small. Sadly tho, the cable produced a VERY noticeable buzzing. Tested a few other cables with adapters and didn't have the same issue.

If your board supplies phantom power to a microphone, turn it off and this works just fine with a standard computer headset. If you need phantom power for a specific input (like a condenser microphone) then only turn on phantom power for that channel; the microphone from your computer headset will NOT work with phantom power with this adapter.
