'Minecraft' is Getting Ready to Go To China

This development was made possible by NetEase which is which is a Chinese internet-based company. NetEase operates games such as Hearthstone and World of Warcraft in China.
There's no official release date yet and no further information regarding what modifications to the main game are warranted for the Chinese market. What we do know is that the Chinese version will only launch for PC and mobile devices not consoles when it finally makes an appearance.
"We are excited about bringing Minecraft to Chinese players and are anticipating our huge online community and to embrace this game," William Ding, CEO and founder of NetEase, Inc., said. We offer a strong platform to introduce Minecraft to China's huge user base, thanks to our deep understanding of China and our ability launch globally-respected mobile and online games.
