Minecraft Update 1.8 Is (officially) Available

We now know that Minecraft version 1.18 (also called the "Adventure Update") is available semi-officially since last week. Is minecraft still a thing This came after an Mojang developer released the update with the studio's approval. If you're not interested in chasing down the file, however, you can now grab the update via the Minecraft launcher, which recently went live for all users.

This is not something we expected to be of much concern to our more tech-savvy file-hunting readers. However, if you are worried about downloading an update for your game which could be a bestiality pornovirus it is possible to download the update now without any concerns.
