Minecraft PS3 Update Added Blocky Skins from Uncharted and Heavy Rain, More

When the PlayStation Network is next updated players playing Minecraft on the PlayStation 3 will find two new skin packs to purchase. One of them features koalas and cavemen while the other is focused on the most popular characters of the PlayStation 3.

According to the PlayStation.blog, the Battle And Beasts skin pack allows players to dress up as koala bears, cavemen, an ocotopus, or even a very aggressive Cleopatra. The "Skin Pack 1" pack is designed for "hardcore PlayStation gamers" and features Minecraft versions of Uncharted with the lead characters Nathan Drake and Sly Cooper. It also includes "some Killzone dudes" and "folks of Heavy Rain". We'd like to get more specific on who exactly will represent Heavy Rain and Killzone, however neither Sony nor Minecraft creator Mojang can provide more details.

The announcement doesn't include pricing for the DLC skin packs. However loyal Sony fans will be pleased to be aware that Skin Pack 1 is only available for the PlayStation 3 version of Minecraft. LIST [Image: Mojang]
