Minecraft Mod Give Us Good Reason To Fear The Oceans
Minecraft YouTubers are basically at war with one another trying to make the most horrendous changes they can and then surprise each other with them. Mysticat has built tanks, Fundy has created horrifying Pac-Man versions, and SystemZee is transforming entire biomes in a bid to exact revenge.
SystemZee decided that fear of drowning wasn’t enough to keep people in the water, so they added a few new enemies to their team to terrorize the people.
As is the case with these videos, it starts with SystemZee explaining their new changes and a little about how they did it. They start by creating a new slime, a shark, or a fish. They decide that they need help and seek out help to make the boss of this little update.
The slimes attack from the ocean floor to deter players who're looking to settle down, the surfer, which is the funky fish, drags players down from the surface to the depths, and then the shark eats you. Because sharks are already perfect, they haven’t evolved in millions.
SystemZee adds the new Minecraft mobs to the game. It also adds a submarine. The final boss is a massive cyclone of fear, pain, death, and fear. The video ends with everyone being taken into the end boss and players turning on each other to stay in the safe submarine. It's a lot of fun to watch and makes us wonder if Mojang watches these videos for inspiration.
Mysticat has also announced that an AI will be redesigning Minecraft for them to check out how it sounds and looks. We're glad they're not in charge yet.
