'Minecraft Dungeons' is Delayed Until May 26th

Minecraft Dungeons is on its way to consoles and PC, albeit a bit more late than what we had hoped for. Mojang has announced that the Minecraft Dungeon-Crawler sequel is available on PC, Xbox One and Xbox Game Pass, PlayStation 4, and, as announced at last week's surprise Directs, Nintendo Switch.

The studio owned by Microsoft originally planned to release Minecraft Dungeons in April, but due to coronavirus-related concerns "this was no longer possible. [We] wanted to guarantee the safety and health of our employees, and empower them to deliver the best possible experience for you, our users."

You'll be able to team up with three other players in both online and local co-op modes. The missions consist of procedurally generated elements and fixed ones that keep the game fresh each time you play while still preserving the story and objectives.

Two versions of Minecraft Dungeons will be available. Alongside the standard $20 edition, there's a $30 hero edition which includes cosmetic items as well as access to two DLC packs that are on the way.
