Minecraft Content Creator Technoblade has Died Following a Battle With Cancer
Minecraft streamer and creator of content Technoblade has passed away after an extended battle with stage 4 cancer the family of Technoblade announced in a statement to the world and video.
Techno has previously revealed that he was diagnosed as having cancer in August. Techno has been updating his community periodically about his situation, while continuing to undergo treatment and creating content on YouTube.
Techno's father, Techno, narrates a final posthumous message titled "so long geeks" that was written specifically for the occasion. It was filled with the creator's trademark dry humor and dark humor. However, it also serves as an ultimate "thank you" to all who have supported the Minecraft star throughout his career.
"Thank you for supporting my content throughout the years. If I had another 100 lives, I think I would prefer to be Technoblade over and over again. As those were the happiest years of my life," Techno said.

Techno who reveals himself to be Alex Techno, discusses how money he earned from merchandising and other "sell-outs" over the past year is being used for his siblings and their college tuition. He also thanks his viewers for letting him share such happy moments with them. an image slideshow that follows him through various stages of his recovery is shown on screen.
His father, who was there for Techno's final words, explains how he originally intended to create and record the message prior to his death. However, Techno's declining health and other issues made it impossible for him to do the task. His father claimed that he composed the message in the hospital and died eight hours later.
Technoblade's father said that Technoblade was "the most wonderful child that anyone could ever ask for." Technoblade is my best friend. Thank you to everyone for everything.
