Minecraft Announces The Lightyear Collaboration DLC, Now Available

A Minecraft DLC that is based on Lightyear by Pixar offers new content, including Buzz's original story. ebookmarks The latest Minecraft blog post described the Lightyear DLC as a "blocky intergalactic adventure" that will feature five missions. These missions allow players to fight off enemies with various tools, face hostile environments and fly a variety of aircrafts to avoid obstacles.

"In the Lightyear DLC, players can play through Buzz's origin story and help Buzz navigate an alien planet after a disastrous crash landing," a part of the post says. "You can play through five missions as this Academy-trained hero, including an unfriendly swamp, a jungle and mines, as well as various alien settlements."

The Lightyear DLC will also come with the free Lightyear-themed Character Creator item. It's currently not available on Nintendo Switch, but the blog stated that it would be coming soon.
