Less casual sex, fewer one night stands, more long-term relationship based sex. That's healthy in my head, and doesn't somehow make gen z "having less sex" as much as the previous generations were being a bunch of hedonists. I'm hoping its a cultural shift away from the pervasive issue of casual sex.

Millennials, however, are reversing this trend as one of the first generations on record to actually be having less sex than their parents did at the same age.
Millennials and Gen Z are having less casual sex than previous generations, according to a January study.
Millennials born in the 1990s are more than twice as likely to be sexually inactive in their early 20s than their Generation X peers were.
It's a common stereotype, by turns celebrated and derided, that young people are having a lot of wild sex. The facts, alas, paint a different picture.
Although it can be easy to view Millennials as having more sexual freedom than prior generations, there's a catch: Millennials are less likely to be partnered or married than prior generations.
That is, millennials, on average, appear to be having sex with fewer people than Gen-Xers did when they were at the same age, and about the same amount of sex as the boomers did when they were in their younger years.
Study after study has shown that not only are millennials less likely to have had sex, but among those who are sexually active, they're doing it less often and with fewer partners.
So, it sounds like millennials are having the most free-spirited and least judgmental sex of any generation, however, they're having less sex than Gen X'ers did.
Adults under age 25 are the most stressed and least sexed generation. Is a lack of intimate touch and connection making the Gen Z mental health crisis worse?
Other factors contributing to fewer millennials having sex could include the widespread availability of pornography, the historically high number of young adults living with their parents, the later age at first marriage, and increased access to instant entertainment online.
Young people aren't dating and having sex the same way past generations have. Is their approach to relationships more pragmatic?
